Christmas Tree Tags

Good Morning Peeps! Today I have some more cute little Christmas tags to show you. I saw these trees made with the scallop circle punch
here. So I had to, of course, give them a try! This girl is a whiz with the punches.

You start with three punched scallop circles and cut them in a triangle shape to make each layer of the branches, starting with 6 scallops showing at the bottom and 5 for the next layer and then 4 and 3 for the top. Punch a small star and adhere them all together, I used snail adhesive and then add brads or whatever fun decorations you would like. For the tag I used kraft like the one Heather made in the video, but I used white craft to sponge the edges and for the snowflakes. The snowflakes on mine are from the SU set Snow Swirled and the "To From" is from the SU set Holiday Tag Time, retired. I added some fun silver ribbon that I got last year from Michael's. I had to make a box to hold mine:

I used the Mini Bella Box as my starting point for this box. I needed it to be larger to accommodate my tags so I just added some to the sides and length, making my over all size 4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide and 1 inch deep. I really love this style of box and the top closure. Again on the box I sponged white craft and stamped snowflakes and some dots. I made 4 tags last night, but the box would hold at least 4 more, so I will be making a few more before I give it away The box is a bit plain, I need to add some ribbon or something. What do you think?

Well, thats all for today! Hope you have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Vicki
