Frightfully Cute

Sorry to be quite the last few days, on Thursday afternoon I got sick out of the blue and I am still not feeling the best. I tell you this getting older stuff is tough, you seriously don't bounce back like you did when you were younger.

I had this card made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches

I used the Frightfully Fun Suite of Products

I let the DSP o most of the work here.

Sorry, I can't be really wordy about how I made the card.

I just don't have the strength to do it at this time.

Merry & Bright

 Hello guys!

Today's card share is my interruption of the sketch challenge at 

Just Add Ink 

My card is a semi-case of the card shown in the Online Exclusives 

I used the Stitched Stocking dies and stamp set for my card.

I die cut the tree strips using Old Olive cardstock.

 The star strips uses Real Red cardstock.

I used Thick Basic White for my card base and followed that with a 

piece of Real Red that I embossed using the Swirls of Magic EF.

I used a strip of DSP from the Stitched Season DSP pack for the middle piece.

The sentiment is from the Stitched Season stamp set and is stamped with black onto Basic White.

I die cut it out with a die from the Stitched Season dies

I mounted it to the middle of the card with dimensionals.

I die cut the Holly and Berries from the same die set and added them to the sentiment piece.

That finished it up!

 Good Morning!

Today i am sharing a card I made using the sketch at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown

My card:

I had to make my card a bit bigger than the standard 2A, to accommodate my squares.

It is an odd size so this one won't be mailed, it turned out to be 4-1/4" x 6"

I use the new Stitched Season Suite of products by Stampin' Up!

I really like this suite, I am a quilter as well as a paper crafter, so this suite was right up my alley.

 The base of my card is one of the new in colors Peaceful Pine, I embossed the front with Swirls of Magic EF, which is from the Halloween suite of products, but I think it works with other style of cards, not just Halloween.

The "pieced" squares are from the DSP in this suite called A Stitched Season DSP, it is a fabulous DSP pack.

The top of the stocking die matches perfectly with this pattern in the DSP pack.

I die cut 3 of the squares and matted them with real red cardstock.

I lined them up down the side of the card, leaving a small space in between.

The sentiment from the Stitched Stocking stamp set is stamped on Basic White with Black ink.

I added it to the card with dimensionals.

I die cut the holly from the piece from the same set using Peaceful Pine 

and added it the end of the sentiment piece. 

I used some red rhinestones that I have in my stash of retired embellishments, to represent the berries, but there is a die in the set to cut some from cardstock if you want.

I finished up with a few snowflakes from the retired Loose Snowflake embellishments.

 Good Morning Peeps! 

The sketch this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is  

slimline card. I haven't made a slimline card in quite some time.

I pulled out another retired set, Peek a boo farm for my card.

The base of my card basic black cardstock. followed with a piece of Reak Red cardstock, that I embossed using the Timber EF.

I stamped and colored the barn animals with Black ink and colored with my Blends.

I also stamped the "rock fence" 4 times and colored them up.

I used the Stylish Shapes dies for the Basic white circles and a 1-1/4" punch for the black offset circle behind the white circle.

I fussy cut the barn animals out and added them to the rock fence thar was also fussy cut.

I die cut the animal using the same stitched shape circle by putting the bottom where the die would cut it and put the top in the front of the die so it wouldn't be cut.

I then glue them to the white die cute circle and added to the card with dimensionals.

I found the "barn door hinges, in the On display dies.

I thought they added a perfect touch to make it look like a barn door.

The sentiment is from the Pek A Boo Farm stamp set.

I stamped onto Basic White and die cut it using another die from the stylish shape.

I finished it up with a few matte black dots, retired.

Popping in here quickly to post a card I made using the sketch this week at 

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

and also, the challenge this week at  The Paper Players

My card:

My flowers on here are fussy cut from the Floral Delight DSP. (retired)

The pretty gingham is Vellum from the same suite of products the DSP came from, Floral & Gingham Specialty Paper.

I used Thick Basic White cardstock for my base and added the Vellum over the base.

The white arch the flowers re mounted on are from the Everyday Arches Dies.

I added my fussy cut flowers to the arch with dimensionals.

The die cut sentiment is from the From the Delightful Wishes dies, and the sentiment below is stamped with Memento Black ink and come from the Delightful Wishes stamp set. (both are retired)

I finished up with a Pool Paty bow and some pool party faceted dots.

Happy 4th

 Happy 4th of July guys!

Hope you are enjoying your day.

I wanted to share a card I made to give to my granddaughters.

These two girls are popsicle fanatics. so I thought I would make them a patriotic popsicle.

I think they are so cute!

I layered 1/2" pieces of Real Red, White and Azure Afternoon onto a scrap piece of white and then used the smallest die in the Everyday Arches die set.

I hand cut the sticks from Crumb Cake cardstock.

I mounted the popsicles onto a die cut circle with dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the patriotic set I got a few weeks ago, no name as is the firework images.

I also made each of them a treat holder:

I have really gotten my money's worth using this fun 4th of July set.

Happy Halloween

 Good Morning Ya'll!!!

Today I am sharing a fun Halloween card that is an Online Exclusive called Frightfully Fun, it comes in a Suite if products with the Dies, DSP, cute embellishments, a cute EF and some pretty ribbon

I used the challenge at 

Hand Stamped Sentiments and it is a nice sketch;

it has a lot of layers, which I love! My card:

It is a busy little card, but that spider had to show you all the new stuff!

I used the spider web die for my circle, I cut a little off it to make it fit my card better.

All the DSP on here come from the Frightfully Fun pack except the black and orange stripe that I used to represent the flag piece across the middle, it is from the Spooktacular 6" x 6" DSP psck.

I colored

 the little spider from the Web of Fun Dies and colored him with my Smoky Slate Blend.

The large Halloween sentiment is from the Web of Fun stamp set.

The Happy is also in the Web of Fun dies.

I finished up with s few little sticky back black bats.

Can't wait til Fall!

 Hello guys!

Toda I am shring  cad I made using the sketch challenge 

this week at The Paper Players

I am using a new Online Exclusive  

Stitched Season is a pretty Suite of products.

I had fun with the different patterns in the DSP to patch together my stocking.

I laid out several squares of the DSP, that was die cut with a die in the Suite, onto a piece of Basic White cardstock, the cut out with one of the stocking dies.

I used Peaceful Pine cardstock for the base of the card, I followed with a piece of SP from the A Stitched Season pack.

The white panel is embossed with one of the folders in the new Seasonal Cheer Mini pack.This is a pack of three folders, one Fall, one Halloween and one Christmas,

I added another piece of DSP across the bottom.

I used a sentiment from the set and added three button embellishments.

I had a few challenges with my card when making, first I glued the front on upside down, meaning the fold to open it was at the bottom not the top, second, I had a issue with my DSP after having it all together and ended up "patching" in another piece and finally I had trouble deciding where 

to put my button embellishments, which lead to another DSP "patch" job.

This is what happens when trying to hurry to finish before I left on vacation. 😐😐

So, I guess you could call this my patchwork card,

In My Thoughts

Hello guys. 

I am sharing a card I made using the challenge at 

Tic Tac Toe Challenge

I went with the middle row and made a pink, square, CAS card.

I used the retired Stampin Up set Called Best Thoughts. I love coloring and for this one I used Bubble Bath and a bit of Pretty in Pink, The leaves are colored with Granny Apple Green.

The base of the card is Pretty in Pink followed with Basic White.

I fussy cut out the flower and added to my card and then stamped the sentiment next to it.

And there you go, pink, square and CAS. 😊

 Hello Peeps!

Today I have a fun card to share, I made using the challenge at

Inspired By

Such a cute inspiration picture/ I went with some bright colors:

I uswd the retired 1Stampin Up set  A Birds Eye's View.

I syamped nd colored with my Blends using Azure Afternoon, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist and a touch of Pumkin Pie and Bubble Bath/

I die cut them out using the Branching Out Dies, I then cut another bigger die with the Azure Afternoon.

I then cut the middle out with the same size die as the image and inserted my focal piece into the opening.

I searched my stamps for a cute sentiment. but didn't find one so I printed this one out onto some Basic White cardstock/

I die cut it out with a die from the Textured Notes Dies.

I added just below the image with dimensionals.

I finshed it up with some very old dots I had in my stash called Bright Party Dots and a little bow.

Aren't they a cute little bird family?

Happy 4th of July

 Hello Peeps!

I am sharing a card today I made using the sketch at 

Freshly Made Sketches

And since it is a anything goes challenge at Cupcake Inspirations

 I am linking my card there as well;

The challenge this week at Addicted to Stamps & More:

Die cuts and/or Stencils. 

I have many images that is die cut on my card s well as the Arch background piece.

and my card:

I used the set I got a couple weeks back for my Creative Challenge with Wendy.

I am wondering if my focal image is too large for the sketch, but I had this idea and needed to get it out!!

My card base is Rel Red, followed by another layer of Rel Red that I embossed with the Starstruck EF.

I die cut the withe piece with a die from the Everyday Arches die set.

I then stamped all my images onto scrap cardstock, colored them with my Blens, using Real Red and Azure Afternoon. I then die cut them out with the matching dies.

All the images are mounted to the Arch with dimensionals.

I stamped the Happy 4th of July with versamark and embossed with white powder.

I added a small strip of Azure Afternoon DSP across the bottom of the card before adding the focal piece.

I finished up with a few rhinestones.

 Hello Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge at As You See It.

A bright an colorful color challenge. Use Berry Burst, a color I almost never use, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lim Twist and Coastal Cabana.

I thought these colors would be perfect for some bright and pretty flowers, so I pulled out my Flowers Fair stamp to use

My card:

I kept my card pretty simple to let the flowers be the star.

I colored my flowers using the challenge colors. They are so striking in these colors.

I then used one of the Everyday Arches dies to cut out the flowers.

I cut another Arch using some Berry Burst cardstock an layered the flower image on it.

The base pf my card is Thick Basic White followed by another layer of white that I embossed using my fave embossing folder at the moment, Stone & Vine.

I added the focal image to the base with some dimensionals.

The sentiment comes from the Lovely Arrangement stamp set and is embossed with white embossing powder onto some Basic Black cardstock. I die cut it out using a die that is in the Lovely Arrangements Die set.

I finished it up with a few brass butterflies embellishments.
