Thank you so much

Hello Peeps!

Sorry I missed a few days here. We had a bad storm blow through and I literally mean blow through. 

We had one heck of a thunderstorm with 80+ mile per hour winds. It took out houses, trees, alot of trees, cell service for some and power. Power poles were downed and so much of the area was without power for a while. Personally, I lost power around 11 on Saturday night and it was just restored on Monday around noon, for me. Some others sooner and some others it was longer. I am thankful for friends and neighbors who helped out so much, A neighbor and his grandson, cut up and remove the large limbs that was in my yard. Since losing my husband they have been a big support for me, mowing and other small things. Sone people really come through when it is so needed.

No onto my card for today. I made this one using

the challenge at Try a Sketch on Tuesday.

My card:

I used the pretty new Violet Dreams Suite, coming in July.

I stamped the image with Memento Black ink

and colored with my Blends.

The pretty oval stamp is in the set, along with the dies to cut it all out.

I stamped the oval with a background stamp that is in the set using Gray Granite and then added the violets to it using dimensionals.

I used Fresh Freesia for my card base. 

I then used a piece of Highland Heather an added the strips to that layer using some DSP from the matching pack. 

I then embossed it using the Stone and Vine EF.

The sentiment comes from a retired set called Simply Zinnia.

I finished up with a couple of yellow dots in the flower centers an also 3 butterflies.

and finally, a small Fresh Freesia bow.
