Tulips for a Birthday

 Hello guys!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the challenge at As You See It

This challenge has an extra add on, in a time challenge.
Gather your supplies and set a timer for 10 minutes, in my case I did a stop watch, and see if you can make your card in less than 10 minutes.

Here is my card[

I saw a card similar to this one online somewhere and wnted to make one.
I had got the Sunshine and Tulips Bundle when it was on our preorder and had not used it. That large tulip die had me wondering about how I would use it.
Then seeing so many cards made with the die cut into strips, I thought genius!!
A perfect way to use that large die.

I gathered up mu supplies, Basic White cardstock, some poppy parade cardstock, granny apple green scrap, a piece of Poppy Parade DSP, my Eyelet EF. and the sentiment I wanted to use.
I was ready and I had my Alexa start a stopwatch and away I went.

I may have had a better time if i hadn't dropped and couldn't fins a couple of my tulip die cuts. I had to re-cut them.
My time:

I made it!

While I had all the supplies out I decided to make another one like this in a different color.

This one I used Fresh Freesia.

Well, thanks for coming by.

Vicki

Both cards are so cute! Love the colors and the embossing folders you used on them! Also love how you did the tulips....one solid and 2 outlines!

I'm always amazed at what can be achieved in ten minutes with a bit of forethought and planning. This card is a perfect example - it is so stylishly elegant that it looks as though you lavished hours on it. The little tulips are so sweet and I love that you've shown the adaptability of the layout with your second card. Thank you for sharing with us at As You See It. :-)

such a pretty card - I love all the texture and detail on it! Great job in the time too, especially with having to rescue a couple of pieces! Thanks for getting speedy with us at As You See It

Love what you did with this sweet tulip die---I am a big fan of red and white, so that one really stood out to me! And the embossed background is perfect! Thanks for playing with our speed stamping challenge this week at As You See It!

Aw! This design is just so sweet! Perfect for a speed stamping challenge, but I'm sorry you lost part of your tulips mid-challenge! Very stressful! Thanks for getting your adrenaline pumping with As You See It.
