Hope you all have had a great week and are ready for a fun, relaxing weekend.

Today's card share is one I made for a Fall card swap I participated in.

I know you all have seen a similar card or two using this wonderful Prized Peony set.

I can't stop with it...I love coloring these flowers. I think when they are colored with these fall type colors they kinda look like a Marigold. 

I stamped the image with Black Stazon around two edges of 

thick Whisper White card stock masking off each as I went using a post it note.

I added the leaves in same way, using a mask made with a post it note.

I colored the flowers and leaves with my Water Brush and ink pads.

I used Crushed Curry, Mango Melody and Cajun Craze for the flowers.

The leaves are done with Garden Green.

 

 

 

My sentiment come from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set. I stamped with Early Espresso ink and then embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textiles EF.

 

I matted this stamped, colored and embossed piece with anotther slightly larger piece of thick Whisper White card stock.

I used a couple pieces of twine pulled from our retired Burlap ribbon (I was out of Linen Thread) to wrap on one side and tied a bow.

 

I added this panel to my Early Espresso base with dimensionals.

I then added a few gold sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.
