Happy Monday Peeps!!
Hope you all had a good weekend.
We had a nice quite one, the days are cooler and
feels like fall is here. I sure hope so.
Today I am sharing a card I made inspired by the challenge this week at Fab Friday.
This week it is a sketch:
I did turn the sketch to make my card in portrait mode instead of landscape and also I orientated my sentiment to the oppostie side of the card.
I think you can still see the sketch in may card tho.
I used a couple of faves of mine the Wonderful Boughs dies and the Poinsettia Dies.
Together they make a nice card with very little stamping.
I die cut the pine branch in Early Espresso and also in Shaded Spruce card stock. I cut the Shaded Spruce die cut apart at the area were the branch meets the pine needles and glued them together.
I added the branch to a piece of Waercolor paper that I did a wash of Coastal Cabana on.
This was also embossed with the Subtle EF before the branch was added.
I die cut the pinecones with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso and the poinsettias with Real Red card stock.
The base of the card is Early Espresso and then the wood look DSP comes from the In Good Taste pack.
The sentiment is from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and stamped with Real Red ink.
I finished with a few gold gems from the Gilded Gems pack and I flicked the whole card with white craft ink to look like snow. Lastly I used my Wink of Stella pen to cover it all!
Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

So fun, Vicki - I love seeing the poinsettias together with the pines - so festive! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
So pretty, Vicki! Love any card that has pinecones & green sprigs! And I love the added poinsettia's! Well done, my friend!
Great combo of die cuts! Wintery but still colorful! I like the subtle texture of the embossed background as well as the wood DSP. Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
