Happy Monday Peeps!!!
Is it fall yet? UGH!!
The heat is on here and it feels like Fall is far away.
But no fear, I have Fall, Halloween and Christmas cards to share this week, so at least
we can think cool thoughts and maybe it will get here quicker! LOL!!
Today's card features the Love of Leaves Bundle, along with a no line watercoloring pumpkin from the Harvest Hello stamp set.
Also the wheat stalks come from the Autumn Essentials Dies.
I begun by stamping the Pumpkin with Cajun Craze ink onto
Thick Whisper White card stock and colored with Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze and my Water Brush.
There is a matching Punch for this stamp set, but I fussy cut out my Pumpkin because I didn't want the small white border around the pumpkin that the punch does.
I used a bit of white craft ink on the pumpkin after it had dried.
The stem is stamped and colored with Early Espresso ink.
I die cut the leaves, which are seriously so amazing!
I love the look of these with the stitched lines!
I used Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso card sock for my leaves.
The wheat stalks are done in Very Vanilla card stock.
The base of the card is Crumb Cake followed with Very Vanilla and then another layer of Crumb Cake that I embossed with the Tasteful Textile EF.
I added a small strip of DSP from the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP pack across the bottom.
I layered on my leaves and pumpkin with dimensionals.
The sentiment comes from the Harvest Hellos set and is stamped with Early Espresso ink and cut apart to add to the card.
I colored a few basic rhinestones with my Pumpkin Pie Blend to add along with
a small bow from made with some Braided linen.

WOW, you are ready for Fall, aren't you?! Can't say I blame you...it's been horrible here too since mid June! Your card is gorgeous, Vicki! Love the no line coloring which btw looks amazing! Love those stitched leaves (can't wait to play with this set!) and your stalks of wheat coming from the arrangement! Beautiful & well done, my friend! TFS! Stay cool!
