Hello Autumn Greetings

Happy Hump Day Peeps!

How you all doing? Is it hot where you are?
It dislike the summer, most of all the extreme heat and humidity, I just don't handle it well.
I am over here still dreaming of fall and cooler days.

I cranked up the air and watched some Christmas movies on Hallmark
recently and made a few fall cards.

I even cranked out a Christmas in July card, I am participating in a Christmas in July swap and I was excited to play with some of the new goodies coming in the Holiday mini.
I will share it soon, after the swap recipient receives it.

Back to this lovely. I was taken with this set from he new upcoming mini immediately.

It is called Autumn Greetings, I love his big image in the set to color.

I stamped the image onto some thick Whisper White with Black Stazon ink.
I colored with my water painter and ink pads.

I am not completely happy with my coloring on this first try, but it is OK. The purple mums have at least three different colors on them and finally I just left them alone. Next
time I will have a better idea of what I want before I start. LOL!

I add Wink of Stella all over the image for added sparkle

The dies with this set cut out the large image and the Wheat border you see in the Background.
I love those!

The DSP is from the Plaid Tidings pack, it is an awesome pack with plaids to use practically all year.

I finished up with a pretty little bow from the Braided linen ribbon and Pretty Peacock rhinesones from the Noble Peacock (retired) rhinestones pack.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Absolutely gorgeous! I think you did beautifully coloring this image, Vicki! I will say that I was intimidated with the coloring of that image that is why I did not order this set. I love the sayings in it but coloring is not my strong suit. I totally love your card....coloring, dies and the beautiful paper! Well done!!! Yes, I am dreaming of Fall and some cooler weather as well. It's been very hot & humid since mid June with no breaks. Hallmark Christmas movies always make me smile....hope they helped you feel cooler! Hugs~
