Good Morning Peeps!!!
It is Sunday which means it's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
Here is the SWEET sketch Karen has for us this week:
I kept my card very clean and simple.
I knew right away when I saw the sketch that I wanted to use the new Stampin Up set called "Scaredy Cat" that I just got. This cute little ghost sentiment was perfect for the main image panel of the sketch. I stamped it with black stazon onto some whisper white card stock. I stamped the ghost portion again onto some scrap whisper white and cut it out and added it to the main image with a pop dot. I added a couple of little red rhinestones that I had in my stash to the ghost for his eyes.
I matted this with some cherry cobbler card stock and then punched a piece of the silver glimmer paper with my scallop trim punch and added it to the bottom of the panel. I went to my Frightful Sight DS paper pack to choose and piece for the layer under the circle, I picked this dotted piece and matted it with some basic black. I then went to my card stock file to get some old olive for the base and was super surprised to find I had a couple of pieces of textured old olive, I thought that would be perfect for the base, love the look of the textured card stock. I then cut a circle from basic black with my nesties and embossed with the square lattice Embossing Folder. I added two black rhinestones to the top corners and it was done. Simple, but cute I think!!
OK, let's see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team has in store for us this week:
Well, thank you for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
