Hello Peeps!
Today's card share is a card I made using the sketch this week at The Paper Players
And my card:
IMy card is made using the Silly Old Bear Suite of products, an online exclusive that will be available to purchase on May 5th.
Such a cute suite of products, this is one you will surely want.
The Base of my card is Very Vanilla and I used a couple of patterns from the DSP.
and Barley Blush.
The die cuts that Winnie and Piglet are mounted on come from the Sweet Words and Labels Dies cut with Very Vanilla and Hydrangea Hue cardstock.
I used some Hydrangea ribbon to wrap between the two layers of DSP. and tie a knot.
My sentiment comes from the Lily of the Valley stamp set.
Well, that is all for now, thanks for stopping by and Happy Stampin!
Vicki

How darling is this? Vicki, you've made the sweetest card with loveable old Pooh and his bestie Piglet. The dsp is very pretty and it's amazing that the sentiment from another set worked so perfectly with the Pooh images. Thank you so much for joining us at the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteThis is just so sweet! The way you've contrasted the illustrative DSP and the plainer blue is lovely, as is the way you've popped up the sentiment on that pretty label. The DSP is just perfect, as if it's stepped out of the pages of the original texts (100 years old this year). Having spent a lot of time lately reading the stories to my Pooh-obsessed granddaughter, I'm very jealous that you have this set in your market.... pure envy! Enjoy every scrap of it. :-) Thank you for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
ReplyDeleteSo stinkin cute, Vicki! I did not get this suite since there are no little ones in my family but it is so sweet! Love Pooh & Piglet and that sentiment finishes your card perfectly!! Love, love, love!
ReplyDeleteVicki this is beautiful - love the paper combo and the blue ribbon trim. I am so envious you have this suite on your market - I would LOVE to have been able to add it to my collection! Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteI just adore this Pooh paper and the sentiment! The Hydrangea blue is my favorite new color. The ribbon adds so much texture, too! SO happy you joined us at The Paper Players this week!
