Happy Thursday Peeps!!
Today's card share features the Poinsettia Dies and Stitched
Stars Dies.
Stars Dies.
I used the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches
for my card:
I used Pink Petal card stock to cut out my poinsettia petals. I die cut 2 of the small petals and then two of the tiny petals for this poinsettia.
I used the Stitched Star dies and Gold Foil paper to cut out the star swirl and the stitched star.
The DSP I used here is from the Prized Peony pack.
After making this non traditional colored Christmas card I made a more traditional colored one:
The sentiments on both cards come from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.
The DSP on this one is from the Heartwarming Hugs pack.
I added a couple of leaves to this one, cut using Old Olive card stock.
I used the Winter Snow EF for the red themed card and he Subtle EF was used on the pink one.
Which do like better? The pink or the red?
Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

To choose between these two gorgeous Christmas cards is very difficult as they are both very striking to look at. I love the brightness of the red tones but the pink poinsettia is so delicate looking and rich that my heart tends to lean that way. thanks for sharing these two grand cards. Very impressive in deed.
ReplyDeleteStunning cards, Vicki!!!! They are so different but I love them both!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
These are lovely! I love the metallic stars and swirls behind the gorgeous dimensional poinsettias. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
