Happy Thursday Peeps!!!
How about we switch gears to Christmas for a couple of days?
I have made many Christmas cards already and haven't posted them yet, so let's get to it!
This Bundle "Sounds of the Season" was one I got right away!
I love bells and had hoped for a few years that Stampin Up would have some
pretty Bell dies for Christmas and this was the year and these are so nice!
I really like the holly and berries that are cut into these dies.
They are a bit tedious, because they are so small, to do but so worth the bother.
I die cut these with Gray Granite, Old Olive and Real Red to create the bells you see here.
I sponged the edges of the bells a bit with Gray Granite ink before adding the details.
After cutting the Gray Bells and pulling out the holly leaves and berries parts, I added some
tape to the back covering the openings where the leaves and berries are to be replaced. This makes adding the Old Olive leaves and Real Red berries a bit easier.
These bells would be so pretty using gold or silver foil and I am going to try those next, but for this card I wanted a bit more country/prim look.
The Bells are added to my embossed scallop rectangle with dimensionals.
The pine greenery are dies from this set as well and make a great little bough to hang the bells from.
I used the pretty Red Braided Trim for my bow and bell srings.
The DSP used here is from the Tis the Season 6x6 pack.
The sentiment is from the same set and the red gems are from gems are from the Wonderful Gems pack.
Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.
