Happy Friday Peeps!!!
Today's card is made using the challenge this week at
I have made one before, years ago but not lately, so I thought I would give it a go.
Man, it is big.....I forgot just how big they are.
I had fun with it!
I stamped images from the Celebrate Sunflower set with Black Stazon ink onto thick Whisper White card stock.
I masked off for stamping the leaves and the smaller flowers.
I colored with my Water Painter and ink pads.
I used Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry and Bumblebee inks for the Sunflowers and Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves.
The Centers are a combo of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso inks.
I did a wash of Coastal Cabana in the Background.
The Sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso ink.
I then embossed the panel using the Tasteful Textures EF.
Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.
If you
would like to buy the products for yourself,
I
would be very happy for you to shop with me.

Beautiful card, my friend! These slimline cards have become so trendy in the last few weeks....I really need to try one as it's been years! Love the sunflowers! Your watercoloring is awesome as always and I love the texture you added with the embossing! Great job! Happy Friday! :)
This card is so pretty Vicki! I just love all of those sunflowers and that textured background! Your colouring is just amazing! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Fabulous design! I absolutely love the embossed texture. Thanks for playing along with us at FMS!
The texture on your card is perfect and I adore your sunflowers. Beautiful Card!
Hi Vicki, I'm crazy about slimline layouts and especially if I can use only SU products! My question is: how do you emboss on a longer piece with the 6" limitations in width? I assume you'd have to pick a folder that isn't directional and emboss the left side then the right? Tim Holtz bravely cuts his folders, but not me yet! Thanks, Donna
