Hello Peeps!
Again, apologizes for my lack of blogging lately.
I am sill creating and have been busy with some new projects but have been so unmotivated to blog. Can't really find a reason why? It is what it is...lol!!
Anyway I am going to try to do better.
I had a request for info on these fun little note pads I have been doing so below you can find a template with size and score and cut lines.
I used the fun Playing with Patterns Suite of products to decorate my notepad holder along with the Basket of Blooms stamp set.
I love the Playing with Patterns DSP that is in this suite. So colorful!
When making your note pad holder fold your score lines in valley, mountain, valley folds as shown in the template.
The adhesive runs down the last valley fold on the right, skipping the part where you cut. No adhesive on that, it is what holds the small pen.
Fold the strip where you applied the adhesive over onto the larger side of the cardstock ( the side where I have written the dimensions and DSP size)
Pull out the cut par on the fold (the pen holder) and that is it. Hope this makes sense.
Decorate as you like!
I used Night of Navy for my base and the NOTES are die cut with Crushed Curry.
They are mounted on a label cut from the Tasteful Labels Dies, you could use whatever shape you like for that.
I did die cut the letters three time and layered them together to make my word stand out more.
I used sticky note pad I got from my local Dollar Tree:
These are thick, I pulled them into 2 stacks to fit my pad.
My flowers are stamped with Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana and punched out with the Small Bloom Punch. I stamped the leaves with Granny Apple Green and I fussy cut them out.
I used the Butterfly Duet Punch and made my cute little butterfly. I punched with a piece of DSP from the Playing with Patterns DSP and also with a scrap of Vellum and layered together.
I added two rhinestones to the butterfly middle. Finally I finished with pretty resin dots from the same suite of products.
I got the small pens I used from Amazon.
Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Love your note pad. I have wanted to make one for several years. I don't know why I haven't yet. Yours is pretty and looks easy enough for me to give it a try. Hope to see some more projects from you. Happy day to you!
