Happy Tuesday Peeps!!
Today's card share is one I made using the sketch this week at The Paper Players.
I have seen a few of these cards trending around that are images colored and then a dark background colored in as well. I wanted to try my hand at it.
I stamped the images from the So Much Love stamp set with black stazon on watercolor paper.
I did a bit of masking to get the two images that I wanted.
I colored the images using Magenta Madness and Old Olive inks.
Then came the Background coloring. I used my Misty Moonlight ink pad for this.
I used my Water Brush and wet the paper avoiding the flowers and leaves.
Then I begun adding the color from my ink pad. I went over it a few times to get the deeper color I wanted.
Once dry it does have a few light and darker areas but that is OK.
I embossed this piece with the Tasteful Textures EF.
My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthday set and die cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die.
I added a white twine bow and a few In Color Enamel Dots.
Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Beautiful coloring!!! I love the Magenta against the Misty.
Beautiful Vicky - those bold pink blooms look fabulous against the blue background and I love the addition of the texture too. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
