Happy Tuesday Peeps!!
Today I am sharing a card I made using the All Things Fabulous stamp set and dies.
I used the color challenge this week at The Paper Players:
I started by stamping my flowers using So Saffron and Seaside Spray.
Oops....I realize as I am typing this up that I used Daffodil Delight and not So Saffron, but hey it is still a yellow right?
I stamped the flowers in the basic color and then the next layer I stamped a few times with same color to get the darker color (shading) on the petals. I used my Stamparatus for this so easy peasy!
I stamped the leaves with Smoky Slate and then die cut all the flowers and leaves out with the Fabulous Floral Dies.
The pointed pieces sicking out under my Smoky Slate strip is another die in the Fabulous Floral set, I die cut and then cut the piece apart vertically and added them under my Smoky Slate Strip.
The Smoky Slate Strip I stamped using Versmark ink and a retired Stamp, the Crackle Background stamp that I picked up just as it was retiring and hadn't used yet. I love it, so I will be using it again I am sure.
My sentiment comes from the Flowering Blooms stamp set. I stamped with Black Memento ink.
I love the font on this stamp don't you?
My flowers all added to the card with dimensionals and then the leaves are glued and tucked in around the flowers.
I finished my card with a few resin dots from the Playing with Patterns pack and a small twine bow.
Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

OMGosh, Vicki, this is so pretty! I am WOW'd by the design and those beautiful colors together! Loved that you used the retired background stamp on the Smoky Slate panel....that stood out to me right away! Never thought to use the Stamperatus with lining up those layers on the flowers so thank you for that tip! I so love this! TFS and stay cool, my friend!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Vicki! No worries on which yellow you used, it's BEAUTIFUL! I love the Crackle on the background piece....a stamp which should have been around longer, IMO! The diecut borders really add dimension and interest! Thanks for sharing this with us this week and using my Paper Players colors!!
