Hello Peeps!!!
Again I find myself needing to apologize for my long silence here.
I have not been crafting much, for many reasons, I changed jobs within
my same place of employment and it has been a bit daunting. Not more
hours, really less, but just different and I have been tired. I like it
much better tho so that is good.
We are in the middle of a slow remodel of our house and that takes much
time and energy, so there is that too. I have gotten to update some
things in the craft room which is quite exciting and some things I have
wanted to do for a long time. I love to organizing and getting things
sit up to make my crafting time more productive and less frustrating.
OK, and top this all off with what is going on in the world today, it just adds to my overall stress level.
So, anyway that is quick synopsis of what and why I have been a lack luster blogger lately.
I did make some time to sit down to play a bit yesterday, I had a
specific request to add this card to my blog, so that spurred me to get
back here.
I got my pre-order goodies last week and they have been just sitting not being loved all this time.
We were not able to order the new in color inks but this month's Paper
Pumpkin had the Misti Moonlight stampin spot included, so I grabbed it
to use.
I inked up one side of the new Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and ran
it through my Big Shot with a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock.
The DSP is also a new item from the In Good Taste pack.
I colored my flowers and leaves with Crushed Curry, Garden Green and Early Espresso inks.
There are dies with this set but I fussy cur out my flower and leaves.
I added he flower to my card with dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the Lovely You stamp set.
I used some Misty Moonlight ribbon and the enamel dots are from the in
color pack and are another of the new in colors called Bumble Bee.
Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Thank You Vicki--Love this card!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your beautiful card! Thanks for taking the time and energy to share it with us. I can relate to your post; a new job in a Much different atmosphere started in November and it has sucked the creative juice right out of me for now. Hoping for smoother days ahead for both of us!
ReplyDeleteThis card is amazing, Vicki! I love this new sunflower set as it will be first thing on my order! Love that you inked up the EF and the look you got! Beautiful coloring and lovely design! You are the queen of flowers, my friend! TFS! I hope things soon calm down for you. Hugs~
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are crafting again. Good look with reorganizing your craft room, and also with the new job. Glad you like it better.
ReplyDeleteThe sunflower and papers are beautiful on your card. TFS
Vicki, this card is so beautiful. I love the new colors. The EF you used really brings out the beauty of this card stock.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making and sharing the how to details of this card.
Vicki, I am struggling with the color of the sunflowers. What color did you use to stamp the sunflower , just the one color? How about the center is there two colors for it? I am very anxious to make a similar card. I don't have all the supplies.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much.
thanks
