Happy Friday Peeps!!!
Today's card share is a card I have been working on for a few days.
This card took a few different forms before finally coming together in the card you see.
I had been wanting to make a pretty poinsettia and since we didn't get one this catalog, I went
looking to see what I had that I could make one with.
I hit upon the leaf dies in the Magnolia Memory Dies and
pulled them out and got busy making my flower.
I like the results don't you?
I die cut the large leaf 8 times and the smaller leaf 4 times.
I layered them up and die cut three Mossy Meadow leaves for my Poinsettia leaves.
I used a gold faceted gem for the center.
The pinecones are made using the Beautiful Bough Dies
. I used Crumb Cake and Soft Suede card sock.
I die cut three pine leaves using some gold foil paper
The base of the card is Coastal Cabana card stock followed by a layer of Whisper White.
The DSP is from the Let It Snow Speciality pack.
I layered my floral arrangement onto two Stitched Nested Labels Dies.
I die cut those using Real Red and Whisper White.
The sentiment is from the Snowman Season stamp set and is stamped using
Real Red ink. I fussy cut the flagged ends on the sentiment piece by hand.
I added the sentiment piece to the die cut labels with dimensionals.
The Label die cut pieces with the floral arrangement is added to the base with dimensionals as well.
Listed below are all the "ingredients" used to make this card.
