Hello and Happy Thursday Peeps!!!
Today I m sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.
I again am using the Detailed Deer Thinlits die for my card. I am so loving these deer dies, but I am sure you had already figured that out by now.
I guess I shouldn't be so attracted to them, we had what I am calling "a deer ambush" our car a couple of weeks ago.
People always say "I hit a deer", when actually the deer hit you.
We was driving home from my daughter's house on a back road and it leaped out of the ditch and right into the front of our car. Our 2 year old granddaughter was with us, but we were all fine, the car, didn't fair as well. But it is replaceable and I am so very grateful for no injuries and I was amazed how many people in a rural area on a back road even after dark stopped to check on us.
And very thankful for my daughter and son-in-law who came to rescue us.
The deer was thick that evening, I had never seen so many out and about as we did that evening.
Anyway, back to my card!!
The base of the card is Very Vanilla and then I embossed another piece of Vanilla with the Sequin EF and added that to the base.
The Music sheet DSP is from a retired pack.
I used some Black glitter paper to die cut my deer.
I added it to the main panel using some dimensionals.
I die cut a snowflake with Vellum using a die in the SnowFall Thinlets set.
I added it behind the sentiment circle.
The "Joy" comes from the Snow is Glistening set.
I added a few little red rhinestones around the deer for a pop of color.
What do you think do you like Black for Christmas?
Thanks for stopping by today!
Vicki
