Happy Thursday Peeps!!
While out blog surfing early this week I came across a new challenge blog, well new to me anyway
Stamp, Ink Paper Challenge Blog, SIP for short!
This week It is fun SKETCH CHALLENGE, so I knew right away I wanted to play along. I saved it to my computer so I could play along and yesterday I got the chance.
Here is the sketch this week.
I had colored up this image from the Stampin Up single stamp called SweetBriar Rose a couple of days ago and thought I might be able to incorporate it onto the sketch.
The image is stamped with black stazon onto some of the new thick whisper white card stock. I then used my Aqua Painter to color.
I used Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Tangelo Twist for the flowers and Old olive for the leaves.
I fussy cut it out with my paper snips to use on the circle element of the sketch.
The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and then another layer of Crumb Cake that I embossed with the Stylish Stripes EF.
I then added a strip of DSP from the Neutrals paper pad.
I tied some linen thread around this piece and tied a small bow.
The flower piece is added to the circle with dimensionals.
I used the Greeting thinlits to die for the Thanks. I die cut with basic black and Gold Glimmer paper. I glued them together offsetting just a bit so the gold would act as a highlight.
I then cut three small stars and tied them onto a piece of linen thread and added that under the bow with a glue dot.
Well, that is all from me!
Thanks for stopping by today.
HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
Vicki
