Happy Monday Peeps!!
Today I am sharing a card I made using the color challenge this week on the The Paper Players Blog.
I started out with a base of Crumb Cake cardstock and then the next layer is white stamped with the Woodgrain Back Ground stamp. I love that Background and I need to place it on my next order, this one was stamped by a friend and given to me.
The circle is Costal Cabana.
I used the Peaceful Petals stamp set for my flowers and leaves.
I stamped two of the flowers and two leaves and colored with my water brush and ink pads.
I used Strawberry Slush for the flowers and Pistachio Pudding for the leaves. I di d sneak in just a bit of yellow for the flower centers.
The Happy Birthday is from a retired SU set.
I finished up with a few enamel dots.
I decide just before putting it all together to round the top corners of the base and wood grain panel.
I like how this one came out, kinda feels like coming home. :)
Thanks for stopping by today
