Sweet Sunday......Season of Joy

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I just got a bunch of new goodies from Stampin' Up. I had this stamp on my wish list since I first saw it in the Holiday Mini. It is called Christmas Bauble and is a single stamp.
I loved coloring and embellishing it.
I can see a lot of fun color combos for this stamp, but on this first one I went traditional and used the sample in the mini as a guide for my coloring.
I used Old Olive and Cherry cobbler ink, altho the Cherry cobbler does look more red when I watercolor with it.
Lots of fun with this card, I embellished so much. I used my Wink of Stella Pen all over so it has a very nice glitter effect going on. I then used some glossy accents on the berries and the little tear grop shapes on the raised circle and across middle. The berries and holly leaves and the middle circle are stamped, colored and added to the ornament with some dimensionals.

I added a lot of gold sticky back pearls on the ornament and the card.
the base of the card is Cherry Cobbler and then a layer of Crumb Cake and then the DSP is from the Under the Tree Specialty pack.
The Old Olive Strips came from my scrap pile and are from the Old Olive Patterned Pack.
The sentiment is from the Endless Wishes set.
I finished my card off with a small strip of glitter paper to the side of the ornament.

Now let's see what the rest of the girls did with this fun little sketch:

Thanks for stopping by today
