Hello Peeps!!!
Popping in her real quick with a card I made this evening using the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.
I am still in Christmas card making mode, even though it is still fairly warm here and I should be making some Fall and Halloween cards. Anyway it is what it is and I wanted to use another fun new Stampin Up set I got called Santa Stache.
I love this Santa, isn't he adorable?
I stared with a base of white and then use a piece of DSP from the Trim the Tree paper stack to cover the base. The strip down the side is also from the same pad of DSP. I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler down the edge of the DSP. I then used my corner rounder on all four corners of the base.
I stamped the Santa image twice onto some white card stock with some Memento Black ink. I then colored with my copic markers. I cut out the Santa's stache by hand altho SU does have a die for this I failed to add it to my last order. :/
I then added the stache to the Santa with a few dimensionals. I matted my image with more Cherry Cobbler card stock. The top of the image and mat are punched using my corner tag punch and I rounded the bottom corners. You can not see the "tag" corners cos my big ol' bow. I also used some glitter gems in the corner and on Santa's hat. You kinda get a peek of that through the ribbon.
The sentiment is from the same set.
LOVE this Santa!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
