Happy Hump Day Peeps!!
Today I have a quick share for you, a card I made using the color challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers.
Such a pretty color combo this week, Wisteria Wonder, Rose Red and Pink Pirouette, with a dessert option of Circles.
I decide to use a new Stampin Up SAB flower stamp, you all know I LOVE this set, it is called Bloomin Marvelous and I can't resist a pretty flower stamp!
I did sneak in another color, I used some Wild Wasabi for my leaves, I tried to make my flower arrangements with out any greenery but it just wasn't looking right, so I played the rebel and added the green leaves.
The sentiment on here comes from the Stampin Up Friendly Words wheel, that I cut apart. This wheel is now retired, so I hope you already have it, cos this is a really neat section of the wheel and I like to use this sentiment when making a friend card and when I need to fill a bigger space in my main panel.
I also LOVE the new Honeycomb EF from the spring mini, a must have.
The base of the card is a 5 x 10 inch piece of Wisteria card stock folded in half.
BTW....
have you gotten the new Stampin Up Paper Cutter:
It is AMAZING!!
I love mine so much, it has a wide base and you can measure and cut a standard size card without using the extended arm, that is my favorite part that and the fact the cutting and scoring piece is always in the cutting guide, no changing out when you need to score, so handy!!
Anyway, back to the card. the next layer is Pink Pirouette. I then used some Confetti White that I embossed with the HoneyComb EF. The DSP on here is from a retired pack.
I then used one of the EF from the Delicate Designs pack to embossed the scallop strip with more Pink Pirouette card stock. I added some white ribbon between the layers and tied a double bow. I finished it all off with some basic pearls.
Thanks for stopping by today and
HAPPY STAMPING!!!

So, so pretty Vicki! Love all the layered flowers and embossing, and of course the colors are gorgeous. I've always wanted to cut up a wheel. One day I'll be brave enough to try it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! I love the cluster of flowers at the top! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteVicki, this is beautiful! Those colours work wonderfully together!!!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Vicki. At first glance I thought this was the smaller flower from Stippled Blossoms. I know you love that set...as do I!
ReplyDeleteJust a fabulous card, as usual! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful creation with us.

Beautiful! Love the flowers. Pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteThe card is really Marvelous. I don't do much stamping but really like this affect.
ReplyDeleteThe stamp set that you used Bloomin Marvelous are these individual flowers and you cut them out? Did you color them in with pens or is this the ink from the stamp? Not sure how you get the edge of the flowers to be darker.
Off to find the Blooming Marvelous stamp set in your catalog.
