Happy Sunday Peeps!!
Hope your weekend has been good! It is heating up here and yesterday we had the air on. Way to early for that but it was miserable with out it!
Today I am sharing a card I made last week and hadn't shared yet.
I used last weeks Stamping 411 sketch challenge for my layout. I used a retired Stampin Up Hostess set called "Love & Care". I love the flowers in this set. I used concord crush for the flowers and old olive for the stems and leaves. I was inspired by some lilacs blooming in my yard to use this color pallet.
Here is a picture of some I got off a bush in my yard this past week:
They are a full month early blooming this year and they are almost gone today.
Anyway I don't have a Lilac stamp so I just used a pretty flower stamp I had.
The DSP on my card is from the "Sweet Shop" paper pack.
Also I wanted to announce the winner of the free issue of Paper Crafters Sampler from the Blog Hop.
Oh my goodness, this is fantastic, Vicki!!!
Thank you Dawn, look for an e-mail from Melanie with your free issue.
Thanks for all who visited the Hop and left such sweet comments, you know I love you all!!!
Have a great Sunday!!
Vicki
Great card - love that flower image and you have three of my favorite things on it - butterflies, flowers and polka dots :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Vicki! Love the dressed up butterfly and the pearl accents you added. Lilacs are one of my favorite flowers. When I was growing up there was a lilac bush that bloomed right outside my bedroom window. I love how the smell filled the room every spring. I wish lilacs bloomed here in Texas...I miss that "smell of spring"! :)
ReplyDeleteSo v v pretty Vicki. I love purples so much. I still maintain you cannot go wrong with b'flies!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Dawn!! Love this card, Vicki! Such pretty colors and I LOVE that stamp set! Beautiful as always!
ReplyDeleteOh now I wish I'd gotten that set! Your card is beautiful! I need to use purples more often....they are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the win also!!! Exciting! I will watch for an email!
