Happy Thursday Peeps!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers. Such a fun sketch. I pulled out this adorable Stampin Up set I got awhile back and had not inked up yet called "Little Friends". I stamped the image onto white card stock with black stazon and colored with my aqua painter and ink pads.
I decided to use the pretty DSP called "Domestic Goddess", and I took the colors from it for the little girl's dresses. I used Pool Party and Calypso Coral, new in colors.
The back panel I embossed with the Square Lattice EF. I used one of the small punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for the little flower with a basic pearl in the center. I "cupped" the little flowers by laying the punched piece onto the foam piece from the mat pack and used the stylus going in a circuliar motion around and around. This makes the flower curl up a bit. I added a the flower to the panel with some glue and then added the basic pearl in the center.
Here is a close-up of the sweet little girls:
I made a scallop strip with the Tasteful Trims die and added some white taffeta ribbon across it. I scrunched it up a bit by laying down some sticky tape first and scrunched a bit while laying it down. I made added a little flower to the image panel .
The sentiment comes from the same set.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and
HAPPY STAMPING!!!
Vicki
