EDITED TO ADD: I have had alot of e-mails about the calendar I used. Here is a link to the one I printed out from Splitcoast 6 x 6 calendar, I then cut it down to use on my card, (3-1/2" x 3"). I know that is a waste of paper but it was what I could find when in a hurry.
Happy Saturday Peeps, It is time for another Our Creative Corner Challenge.
This week our hostess is the fabulous Sharon Wheet from Designs by Sharon. She has a fun challenge for us, here it is in her own words:
Everyone has a favorite number, or a number they will always remember. So, for this challenge, include a number on your paper craft item. Your paper craft item can be a card, tag, 3-D item, or scrapbook page. Be creative on how you
I don't have alot of number stamps, well not any really, and couldn't think of a way to incorporate numbers into my card until I thought about a calendar. I decided to print off an October calendar and use it.
The base of the card is basic black card stock and I followed that with some Cajun Craze and the DSP I used is from the Frightful Sights pack from Stampin Up. I printed out the calendar onto some whisper white card stock, I got the template for this from Splitcoaststampers, there is alot of printable calendars on there.
I trimmed it up and matted it with cajun craze and basic black card stock. I added a little zig zag on the side that I cut out with the Perfect Trim Die and some cajun craze card stock. I punched out a little circle in some scrap paper and layered it over the "31" and sponged it lightly with cajun craze ink.
I added a little haunted house from the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set and the sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I used some basic black ribbon and a few silver pearls to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
Vicki
