It is time for another new challenge on the OCC Blog.
Our challenge hostess today is Holly Kean from Kean on Paper and she has another fun challenge for us:
Make a paper craft that uses a window as its focal point. Cut it out however you wish - with a die, trim it with scissors or use a craft knife - whatever you want!
I might have missed this one just a bit as I used a frame, but it has an opening like a window so i think it works.
I used the new Stampin Up set from the Holiday Mini called "Forest Festivities". I used just part of one of the stamps for my framed image. You see, Mrs. Claus has been wanting Santa to pose for a new photo all year and he always said he was too busy. So she just took matters in her own hands and snuck up on him and snapped a photo, she got him mid stride with the "naughty & nice" list in hand!!
He looks a bit busy, don't ya think? :)
I framed him with one of the new Designer Frames Embossing folders. I like the Santa in this set, not so much what else is with the Santa in the image so I just cut him out. I colored him with red ink and my aqua painter, I used some basic gray for his boots and belt. I added some crystal effects over the boots and some dazzling details on his fur and beard.

Your Santa is adorable Vicki. Love the way you have him colored along with the crystal effects and dazzling details! That frame EF is very cool too. I may need to acquire that with my next SU purchase! Great color combo and that red bow is just plain luscious!
