OCC...3D Easter Project

Good Morning Peeps!! It is Saturday and that means it is time for another new challenge at Our Creative Corner.

This week I am excited to be the challenge hostess. My challenge is to make a 3-D Easter Themed Project. There are so many fun projects that would fit this theme, cute bunnies, baskets and treat holders just to name a few. No cards allowed for this challenge.

I tried several different things before landing upon this little Easter Basket, my mojo has been lacking this past week and you know that would be the week I am the challenge hostess!!! LOL!!

I found the tutorial for this basket HERE. It is super simple and so cute! I made my basket with some pretty in pink card stock. I decorated with some pretty spring paper from the Nursery Suite Speciality paper pack. I used some silver jumbo brads to hold the handle in place. The sentiment comes from the Stampin Up Easter Blossom stamp set. I used my wide oval punch to punch out the sentiment. I used the scallop oval to matt the sentiment. I used three scallop punches to make the matt. I decorated the front of the box with some prima flowers. I used the lace edge punch with some white card stock to trim the top of the basket and added a satin white ribbon bow. I then filled the basket with some Easter goodies and it is ready to give away! :)

I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! To play along, upload your creation to your blog or gallery, then leave a comment linking to your project over at Our Creative Corner so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC.

Well, that is all from me for now, Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
