Edited to Add directions for the box, thanks to all who e-mailed me asking for more info
The little box is very simple to make. Cut out two scallop evelopes. Cut the bottom flap to the size of the side flaps, approx. 1/2 inch. Use some sticky tape on the flaps to join the two die cut pieces together to form the small box. The handle is a 1/2 inch by 8-1/2 inch strips, I ran the strips inside the box about half way down the height and added a small brad to hold in place. I used the filigree brads on the front only and just used some sticky tape to hold the back flap down. I added the DSP before putting them together to make it easier for me, but could be added after. I cut a peice of the DSP for the flap, not doing a full die cut as that would be a waste, just a little past the fold/crease on the die and added it to the flap, lining up the dotted line from the base.
Hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.
TGIF Peeps!!!
Yesterday I meet up with a few friends for lunch and alot of chatting and laughing and a couple of bad photos!!!!
I wanted to have a little goodie to give them so I whipped this little Purse treat holders with the Scallop Envelope Die! I used some of my favorite DSP. This is the Stampin' Up Love Letters DSP and I am down to just a few scraps left in the package so I need to add another pack to my next order!
I used some basic black and riding hood red card stock for the base and then added the DSP over that. I used some of the SU filigree brads along with some riding hood red brads for a little embellishment on the fronts. I attached a handle with brads too.
These little purses hold two ghiradelli chocolates. What could be better? Chocolate and good friends, really good friends. Loyal and trustworthy and friends I would do anything for!!! Seriously, good people!
Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
