Favorite Friend felt flowers
TGIF PEEPS!!!!
Today's card share is one I made with not one challenge in mind, just for the fun of it. Last week while picking up some cork in town I also picked up a little bit of felt. I used the Blossom Party Die to make my felt flower. The leaves are from the table setting die. When I purchased this felt I thought it might match the new Marina Mist but after getting it home, and comparing it matches the now retired, Take with Teal.
The base of the card is, of course, taken with teal and the DS paper is from another retired paper pack, Autumn Meadows. I was gong for a bit of "shabby chic" the paper fits anyway! I stamped the sentiment from Wonderful Favorites with my basic gray ink pad, stamping off once, again trying for the shabby feeling. The "friend" is stamped with out first stamping off.
I added a scallop border across the middle with some silver pearls. I rounded the bottom corners and added 3 more silver sticky pearls. I pierced all around the top edge and the flower is mounted with some dimensionals.
Well, that is all from me for today, try to stay cool and remember to do something today that makes you happy!
HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Beautiful, Vicki! Sorry it didn't match the new colour but it looks fab with Taken with Teal. I'm having fun with felt lately too ;)
I LOVE this!!! You know my favorite color is Taken with Teal.
Love it, love it, love it!!!!!
I love Everything about this card...the felt flowers, the colors and the sentiment. Just Fabulous! TFS.
What a beautiful card! I've recently been addicted to teals and turquoises, so this is right up my alley!
