SSSC71......Thanks a Gazillion
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!!! My favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
Here is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
Now don't fall off your chair in shock, but my beautiful stamped image is NOT a SU stamp!!!!
This fabulous image comes from the Unity Stamp set called Moments in Bloom. When I saw this set and this stamp in particular I had to get it! It is my first Unity stamp set and probably won't be my last, I love them!
My card base is chocolate chip and I followed that with whisper white and the DS paper is from the retired Good Morning Sunshine pack. I distressed the edges of the white on the first layer with my distressing tool. I then pierced all around the edge and added four white brads to the corners. The next layer is more of the same DS paper matted with more white that I used my apron lace punch on. I pierced this layer as well.
The main image was colored with markers and then stamped onto whisper white card stock. I used the Labels 4 nesties to cut the image out. I then stamped the sentiment from the "Really Retro" set onto some scrap white with timber brown stazon I added a summer sun corduroy button and then mounted to the card base with dimensionals.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OCC....Glad we're Friends
TGIF Peeps!!! Do you have big plans for the holiday weekend? Not much planned here, yet anyway!
Well, here it is another card, {and my last, for awhile anyway} with the fabulous Georgia Peach DS paper. This card was made with the sketch challenge on the Our Creative Corner Blog.
Now this is a square card instead of the standard 4.5 by 5.5, all the sketches I looked at when I was starting to make this final card in the series was square, so I just went with it! The base is white and I followed that with regal rose and then the DS paper. The stamp I used for the main image is from the "Friends 24-7" stamp set. The sentiment comes from the retired "Best Yet" hostess set.
The rest is pretty self-explanatory but if you have any questions just let me know. I will be back on Sunday with my Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge card. It is NOT made with this DS paper....LOL, I promise!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and if you have time leave me a comment I love to hear from you! HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

Fabulous Friend
Good Thursday Morning Peeps!!
Today I am sharing the third card in my series aptly named...."I LOVE this retired Georgia Peach Designer Series Paper"......what a name huh......LOL!!!! You can see one of them here and the first one here.
I started this card based on this week's sketch on Splitcoast, but I ended up varying the sketch too much for it to fit.
My card base is regal rose and I followed that with old olive and then the DS paper. The stamp set I used is "Thoughts & Prayers and the sentiment comes from the retired set "Really Retro". I added the butterflies and mini white brads.
Well, that is all from me today, Thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

MTSC#75.....Hello
Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge! You know I love Mercy and I certainly love her sketches, week after week she supplies us with incredible sketches and amazing inspiration from her design team!
I can not stop playing with this amazing designer paper from SU, Georgia Peach. It is retired, I purchased a pack from the clearance rack, and I wonder why I never had gotten it before now! Great colors, some of my fave, regal rose, old olive, so saffron, pretty in pink and of course whisper white!
My base is white and I followed that with regal rose and then the DS paper. I used some rick rack I had in my stash, and BTW it is almost a perfect match to the regal rose. The stamp set I used for the flower image is from the "Close as a Memory" stamp set. I used markers in regal rose, so saffron and old olive to color directly onto the stamp and then stamped the image onto the card stock. I matted the main image with regal rose and then pierced all round the panel.
OK, I did vary the sketch just a bit, I put the circle element to the bottom of the main panel, the sketch had it at the top. It just worked better for my stamped image at the bottom, I hadn't intended to do that when I started but it just worked out that way. The sentiment comes from the fun little set "Hello Again" stamp set. I stamped it with regal rose onto the white and matted with old olive and then a scallop circle of regal rose. I added two so saffron butterflies to the card along with silver pearls.
Thank you so very much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

Curtain Call........Thanks so Much
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!!!
Today's card share is made with the color challenge onStacey's Stamping Stage. I also used the sketch challenge over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog.
The color challenge this week are whisper white, night of navy, pretty in pink, garden green and almost amethyst. Stacey certainly challenges us with her color combos and since I have been struggling lately this really was a challenge for me!
The base of the card is white and I followed that with some night of navy and the DS paper comes from the "Tea Party" paper pack. The stamp set I used is the "Awash with Flowers" double set. The garden green is in the stems and the sentiment. The sentiment is from the "Tiny Tags" stamp set and I used the tag punch to punch it out. I added a photo corner with silver sticky pearls. The BG is split with two pieces of DS paper and a night of navy scallop between them, I added smaller silver pearls to the scallops.
The flowers are stamped with almost amethyst and pretty in pink. I stamped a second flower with the amethyst and added them over the first with some dimensionals.
This card certainly didn't go as planned, when I was putting it together, IE layering up and gluing, I got a couple of smears of the garden green on the main panel, so the ribbon was added across the bottom to hide one of the smears and the silver brads on the flower panel to hide another!!!! So frustrating!!!!
Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC70.......For You
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!!! My favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
Here is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
Isn't this a fun sketch? I love the swirl element on it!! I did take a bit of creative license with this one.
The base of the card is baja breeze card stock, one of my all time fav colors! I followed that with chocolate chip card stock. The next layer is the first place I varied it a bit, I wanted to use the chocolate chip DS paper that is on one side but didn't have enough of it left, so I added the flowered side piece with a piece of card stock punched border in between them. My original intent was to have my butterflies on squares like the sketch, but they didn't really look the way I wanted so I added them to the card without the squares and I like the look much better. The butterflies are made with the Sizzix Embosslits Beautiful Wings. They are in baja and chocolate chip and layered up with some pearls in the middle. The sentiment comes from the "Great Friend" stamp set and is stamped with timber brown stazon onto white card stock and punched out with the small oval punch. I added directly to the base and added a very small butterfly to the corner. The pretty swirl element is half pearls.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I know I said yesterday that I might not post much this week, but after taking a long walk and then coming home and checking out Mercy's sketch I was inspired to make this card. I think I misspoke yesterday when I said I haven't had the WANT to create, truthfully the WANT is still there it is just the ability to make something acceptable. I think they go hand in hand tho, and I think maybe it is best to not push this kinda thing, the more bad things I make the more I don't want to try.
Any way I do kinda like this card. I used some whisper white for the base and the DS paper is the retired, I got a pack from the Clearance Rack recently, Georgia Peach. I matted each layer with regal rose card stock. The stamps used on this card come from the "Great Friend" and the "Baroque Motif" I stamped the swirl with regal rose after stamping off once. The sentiment is stamped with black stazon over the swirl. The old olive panel under the circle piece is embossed with EF. I used some regal rose ribbon to make the bow. I added a little decorative pin through the bow. I finished it off with a couple of small butterflies in so saffron with tiny little pearls in the center of each one.
Well, thanks so much for coming by and thank you to all who sent e-mails and commented about how they would miss me if I don't post for awhile. It really lifted my spirits. HAPPY STAMPING!!!

My first Pure Innocence
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!
Today I am sharing a card I made with my very first Pure Innocence. I have been seeing these everywhere and I just LOVE those sweet little girls!!! This one is a digi that I bought from etsy. I have since getting this one bought a few of the stamps and I am waiting for their arrival!! I can't wait to play with them some more.
This is also colored with a few copics. I only have a handful of them so far and plan on getting more, I am hoping to take a class this summer to learn how to use them better, so don't be tooo hard on me on the coloring! :(
The base of the card is kiwi kiss and I followed that with some basic black and the DS paper is from the Rockabilly paper pack, retired. I used a MS punch and some black satin ribbon. I also added some white and black brads.
I am still having trouble getting a decent picture, not sure why....maybe because it has been cloudy and gloomy here for what seems like forever.
I also wanted to let you all know that my posting will be a little sporadic this week as I have lost the WANT to create, not sure why on that one either, but hoping it will line itself out soon. I will definitely be back on Sunday with my Sweet Sunday Sample and hopefully sooner but we will see.
Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC69 Hello
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!!! My favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
Here is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
I have been on such a kick of kraft aka crumb cake card stock lately!! I used it for my base and really keep my layers to a minimum. The stamp set I used is a new one from the summer mini, Elements of Style. I stamped the flowers with timber brown stazon onto watercolor paper. I colred the image with my aqua painter and melon mambo, old olive and a bit of crushed curry ink. I went around the flowers with creamy caramel and dotted with my always artichoke marker. I cut out the flowers with my nesties, leaving one flower "out". I matted with melon mambo and crushed curry. The DS paper is from the razzleberry lemonade paper pack. I added three little rhinesones from my stash.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

Thinking of You......
Good Saturday Morning Peeps!! It is STILL a gloomy rainy day here in southwest Missouri!
Today's card is made with the sketch challenge on the 2 Sketches 4 You Blog. I was first drawn to this sketch after seeing it used on a couple of peoples blog this week while I was blog surfing! Isn't it cute, with the ruffled bottom!!!
Earlier this week I posted this card, made with kraft and rich razzleberry and I used it for my inspiration for this card. I used the same stamp set too, Fifth Avenue Floral. I have almost never used this flower from the set. I stamped the flower with black stazon onto the kraft card stock, twice. I then stamped another onto some scrap kraft card stock. I then went in with my aqua painter and razzleberry ink and colored in the flowers. I used some crushed curry ink in the centers. I cut out the flower from the scrap card stock and added over the bottom flower with a dimensional. I added a bit of yellow glitter to the flower centers. I then pierced all around the flower piece and then added two white lines to the side with my gel pen and a ruler.
The sentiment on this card is from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and I masked off just the portion I wanted on the stamp and stamped it with black stazon onto more scrap and used the wide oval punch to punch it out. I then added it to the main image with more dimesionals. The bottom of the card, the ruffles, are made up of strips of razzleberry and kraft punches with the lace edge punch. I finished it off with some white taffeta ribbon and a bow.
Well that is all from me today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Melon Mambo Thank You
TGIF Peeps!!!!
Today I am sharing another card that I made awhile back and had not shared here yet. I do have a couple of new cards, but since we have had non-stop rain and cloudy skies this week, I have been unable to get any decent pictures. Besides my mojo is in serious hiding lately......UGH!!!! Do you think some new stamps would help??? LOL!!!
This card was made for a sketch on splitcoast. I am not really sure why I never uploaded it, probably because I didn't like it at the time, but now I don't think it is soooo bad after all.
The base is melon mambo and I followed that with Crushed Curry and the DS paper comes from the now retired Welcome neighbors 6x6 paper pack. I used the Upsy Dasiy stamp set, I stamped with melon mambo ink onto whisper white. I pierced the upper right corner and then matted with melon mambo card stock. I added a small strip of DS paper from the same DS pack and then 2 small white brads. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was inked with melon mambo ink and stamped onto some scrap paper. I then pierced under the sentiment and distressed the bottom edge a bit. I mounted the main panel to the base with some dimensionals and then added a spiral clip with a bit of crushed curry ribbon.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Razzleberry Lilies
Good Thursday Morning Peeps!
Today I am sharing a card I made a while back and hadn't posted yet. I begin this card with a base of kraft aka crumb cake card stock. I followed with a layer of rich razzleberry that I embossed with a the Swiss Dot EF and my cuttlebug.
I stamped the lily flowers from the Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set onto the kraft card stock with versamark and then used some white embossing powder on them. I then used my aqua painter with razzleberry ink to color them in. I used a bit of summer sun on the middles.
The sentiment comes from the Thank You Kindly stamp set. It was stamped with black stazon. I added three white brads under the sentiment. I then pierced all around the edge using my mat pack and piercing tool. I recently got an e-mail (Hi Pamela) asking how I keep my piercing straight and lined up. I have a little tip and maybe you all already know this but since I had some one ask I thought I would share. I start my piercing in one of the corners and work out a little less than half way and sometimes I just pierce 5 to 6 holes and then go to the opposite corner and do the same. I keep working toward the center and if I see the holes are not going to meet, {match up} I adjust the piercing a little each way to make them line up. I do that on each side. Hope that helps anyone who might struggle with this.
I matted the main panel with razzleberry and then white and mounted to the base with some dimensionals.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Curtain Call....Thinking of Tango
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!
Today's card is made with this weeks color challenge on Stacey's Stamping Stage. This weeks colors are Bordering Blue, Tangerine Tango, Summer Sun and Whisper White.
I used the Awash with Flowers stamp set. I stamped just the outline stamp of the flowers with black stazon onto watercolor paper. I colored the flowers in with my aqua painter and tangerine and summer sun ink. I did add a bit of old olive for the leaves and stem and colored in the BG with bordering blue. I cut this out with the top note die and then cut off the bottom and side. I cut two top notes with the bordering blue and pieced together the mat.
I liked the main image, but then I was a bit lost as what to do with the rest of the card. I tried a white base and thought it looked too stark so I then cut a base with the watercolor paper and like that. I wanted to keep the BG layers fairly minimal so I just used some strips of the three colors. The sentiment is form the Teeny Tiny Wishes set. I stamped it with black stazon onto the tangerine strip, I then pierced along punch along the strip. I used the scallop trim edge punch along the bottom strip of bordering blue. The summer sun DS paper is from the retired Good Morning Sunshine paper pack. I added a piece of the top note that I had trimmed away on the main panel at the top. I finished it off with three orange rhinestones.
I had liked this card when I first made it but after looking at it awhile I am not so happy with it now......not sure why??
Oh well, that is all from me today, THANKS so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Inkspiration Sketch....Its the Swirls
Good Monday Morning Peeps!!!
Today's card is made using the Inkspiration Sketch challenge. I have to say I was totally inspired by Dawn's Card, I LOVED the swirls and I had used them on this card last week, we all need MORE swirls don't we.....LOL!!
I started with a base of Kraft aka Crumb Cake and then followed that with Night of Navy. The DS paper is from the Bella Bleu paper pack. The sentiment is from the "All Holidays" stamp set. I stamped it with night of navy ink onto the kraft card stock. I used my Label 3 nestabilities to cut it out and then used night of navy card stock and a circle nestie for the mat. The side strip is made up of night of navy card stock, I used the pinking hearts border punch on one side. The DS paper is from the Bella Bleu pack as well. I then added another strip of night of navy card stock, pierced along one edge. I then added some kraft taffeta ribbon, I am sooo loving the taffeta ribbon, I need to get all the colors of it, it ties so wonderfully. I used the sizzix "Scribbles Swirls" with night of navy card stock along the bottom left. I thought the top corner needed a little something, so after trying a couple of different things I finally settled on a a little bit of another swirl! Finally four gold pearls on the corners of the sentiment panel.
Well, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!

SSSC68 Thank You....
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!!! My favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
Here is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
I have to tell you all how much I struggled with this sketch, funny how sometimes whatever you do just doesn't work or feel right! I just could NOT wrap my little pea brain around this one. I didn't even finish this car til Saturday which is VERY unusual for me, I normally have my card done within a day or two from when Karen gets them to us. It is just how I roll, I am not comfortable with waiting til the last minute. I had lunch with a couple of friends on Friday and I was telling them how I was struggling with my card, of course they just rolled their eyes, they seem to think I NEVER have trouble creating!!! LOL!!
The card base is kraft card stock aka crumb cake, and I followed that up with soft sued and then Bermuda bay. The DS paper is from the Thoroughly Modern paper pack, I have hardly used anything out of this pack, so I had decided in advance to use it and that is how I choose my color scheme. I wanted to use the kraft for my image panel so I choose the Upsy Daisy stamp set to stamp with soft suede onto the kraft. I pierced all around the edges of the panel and added the sentiment, from the same set, I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up. I added it to my base with some dimensionals.
I used my photo corner punch, something I haven't pulled out in such a long time. I punched two small photo corners with Bermuda bay card stock and added to opposite corners. I added three small gold pearls to each corner. I then used some kraft taffeta ribbon, (thanks to my friend Lois for that) to tie a bow around the top. I added a small spiral clip to the bow and called it done.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

MTSC72 You Made My Day!
Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!
Today's card share is made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge!
How sweet is this sketch? Love, Love Love the swirls!!! My card base is white and then I followed that with some more white that was embossed with the new EF from the Summer Mini called Square Lattice. I added a strip of chocolate chip DS paper from the Sweet Pea paper pack. The swirls are cut with the sizzix "Scribbles Swirls" with the same DS paper. I left the bottom strip plain to stamp my sentiment which is from the "Stem Sayings" set. The flower is from the "Inspired by Nature" set and was colored with markers, pretty in pink, chocolate chip and old olive. I finished with pretty in pink ribbon and silver pearls.
Well, that is all form me today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Curtain Call....My Heart is With You
Happy Tuesday Peeps!!! Today's card is made with Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge Act 28 This weeks colors are Rose Red, Whisper White, Kraft and Night of Navy! Great colors huh? Love them!
I started my card with a base of kraft (soon to be re-named Crumb Cake). I followed that with night of navy and the DS paper is from the "Bella Bleu" paper pack. I stamped the flower from "Friends 24-7" onto watercolor paper, twice and colored with my aqua painter and rose red and always artichoke ink. I cut out one flower and set aside. I cut out the outer flower with my oval nesties and matted them onto a night of navy scallop oval. I cut the other flower apart and mounted it to the oval framed one, to add some dimension.
The strip across the bottom is made up of night of navy and kraft. I used the scallop trim punch on the kraft piece and ran it through my cuttlebug with my Swiss Dot EF. I added some whisper white ribbon and bow with taffeta ribbon. I then mounted the flower scallop frame to the base with dimesionals. I used some sticky back white pearls along the scallop edge and in the top corners.
The sentiment comes from the "Small Sayings" stamp set. I stamped it with black stazon onto some scrap watercolor paper and used my word window punch to punch it out.
I LOVE to decorate the inside and really NO card is finished until I do that.

GOOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!!! My favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
Here is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
Don't you just LOVE this sketch??!!!!
My card this week uses the "Fifth Avenus Floral" stamp set. I stamped the rose onto pretty in pink cardstock with versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I then went in with pretty in pink ink on a dauber and added in color to darken a bit. I then cut out the rose and set it aside. The base of the card is kraft, or should I say Crumb Cake, and the DS paper is from the "Sweet Pea" paper pack. I used basic black for my mats on the DS paper and the sentiment panel. The sentiment comes from "A Little Birthday Cheer" stamp set. I really like that sentiment, I think it would be great just for an any occasion card to a friend, Just to clelbrate them and your friendship!
I thought my rose needed something so I cut a few leaves with my sizzix Little Leaves die and added them in behind the rose that is mounted with foam tape to the base. I added three mini black brads as well.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.
