PPA10 Give Thanks

TGIF Peeps!

Today's card was made for the Theme Challenge: Gratitude and Thanks on
Pals Paper Arts Blog. the challenge was to to create with a spirit of gratitude and thanks.

My card was inspired by this beauty by Sharon Johnson. I changed it up a bit, using the same paper and layout, but different stamp sets and embellishments.

The base of my card is soft suede card stock followed by white and then the DS paper from the Autumn Traditions pack. The stamp s=is from the Holiday Best set. I inked the stamp with soft suede and then wiped off the ink on the leaves with a paper towel. I then used markers in old olive, ruby red, summer sun and more mustard to color in the leaves, stem and berries. I then huffed on the stamp, (to re-wet the ink) and stamped onto white. I used the coluzzle to cut out my oval and then used my oval nestie to cut out the scallop oval. I used some crushed curry ribbon and a couple of antique brads for embellishments. The main image is mounted with some dimensionals to the base.

A very easy, clean and simple card.

Well, that is all for today, hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Vicki
