Gift Set

Good Saturday Morning Peeps!!!

Earlier in the week my sister had asked me to make a birthday cake for one of her friends, well, one thing lead to another and I ended up making the cake, a super yummy carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, and I made a couple of candles to match a card and little gift bag I had made earlier.

We filled the bag with some chocolates and the candles are super easy to make. Just tamp onto some tissue paper and use a heat gun and some waxed paper to attach the tissue directly to the candle. If any one is interested I will try and do a tutorial on this later next week.

For the candles here I used two favorite sets, one an oldie and one new, Happy Harmony and For All You Do. I used sentiments from Small Sayings and Garden Greetings. I stamped the flowers with some rich razzleberry and Orchid opulence. The sentiments are both stamped with black stazon.

Another look:

Well that is it for today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Vicki

Wow Vicki, these candles are fantastic. The cake sounds really good, I sure wish I had an excuse to make a cake right now!! No birthdays coming up and my daughter is in training, so not alot of goodies around the house! :-)

I am passing along a Circle of Friends award to you and your fabulous blog, I hope you don't mind!! :-)
