Urban Thank you

TGIF Peeps!! Hope you had a great week and are ready for some weekend fun and maybe some or alot of stamping time!

Today's card is one I made with some of the SU Urban Garden DS paper. I saw a card very similar to this one on a blog a while back and for the life of me I can not find it now to show you.

I loved the SU set "Inspired by Nature" when it came out and was one of the first stamp sets I order, but I have never used it, til last night. I know, I don't know why I waited so long, I really like these flowers and they are some of my all time favorites IRL. Purple cone flower of Echinacea or even the Black eyed Susan, I love them and their shape and how they can grow just about anywhere, I have even seen them peeking up and blooming through the bricks in the alley next to the building where I work. They sustain in almost impossible circumstances, I just love that about them, but I digress.

The flower stamp was "inked" up with versmark and stamped on the patterned paper from the Urban Garden DS pack and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I used kiwi as my card base and some not quite navy and baja breeze for the accent stripes. The sentiment is from the SU Upsy Daisy set and stamped in navy on whisper white card stock. I added the baja button with a tiny strip of navy threaded through the button holes to resemble thread. The sentiment is up on dimensionals. That's it....very easy peasy lemon squeezy!!!!

That's all for today, have a great day and Happy Stamping!
