Snowman Onament and Gift Card Holder

Good Thursday Morning Peeps! Only 1 week left, are you ready?

First up today is a cute little snow man ornament/gift card holder. I found it
HERE. It is so easy and I think very cute. You start with a 3 3/4 inch square of cardstock and each layer down is 1/4 inch smaller. All you do is layer and turn, super quick to make! I am still loving the tangerine and kiwi with this SU Frosty Days DS paper, I just love the nontraditional colors. I made my ornament a gift card holder as well, by simply adding another 3 3/4 by 2 inch piece of cardstock onto the back and attached it with 1/8 inch sticky tape on three sides. I punched a half circle into the top with my 1/2 inch circle punch to make the gift card easier to get out. It is a tight fit but works!

I needed another gift card holder so I whipped this one up also:

I used the tutorial HERE for this fast and easy gift card holder and I basically CASED This Fabulous card by Jodi aka Kharmagirl on Splitcoast. She is a stamping goddess and I love all she does! I used the same layout she did and the same colors, I did change up the snowman stamp and the ribbon and added a sentiment with the word window punch. Didn't it turn out great? Thanks Jodi for always being so inspiring!!! This gift card holder will hold a a gift card to Toys r Us for my adopted niece, she is in her twenty's but collects some kind of wrestling figurines that she can get there, so I know she will be thrilled!

Here is a picture of the inside:

Well, that's all for today, Hope you have a great day and Happy Stamping!

Vicki

These are both very cute - and the ornament is an excellant way to use up the scraps!

The ornaments are very pretty! That would be a great way to use up all of the Holiday DP scraps I have. TY for the idea!
