Monochramatic Love

Good Afternoon Peeps! I have a fun little card to show you today, taking a break from all the Christmas cards and projects.

I loved the look of this monochromatic color scheme. I used an old sketch by Jen Del Muro for the layout on this card. I used one of the Valentine sets from SU that is in the winter mini. I believe it is called "A Happy Heart". I stamped the heart twice with versamark onto some scraps of baja cardstock. Then I heat embossed them with some white embossing powder. I then cut them out and mounted onto a piece of white cardstock that I had lightly sponged with some baja ink. One of the hearts is up on dimensionals. The other square is slightly larger and has a white layer that I ran through the cuttlebug with a heart embossing folder. The DS paper is from the SU "Urban Garden" pack. I finished it off with some baja ribbon and some Martha Stewart half pearls. It really is an easy card to make and would be good for a Wedding or a non-traditional Valentine card.
