Thanks a Bunch

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today's card is made using the challenge this week at

Create a Slimline card, they are trendy right now.
I have made one before, years ago but not lately, so I thought I would give it a go.

Man, it is big.....I forgot just how big they are.

I had fun with it!

I stamped images from the Celebrate Sunflower set with Black Stazon ink onto thick Whisper White card stock.

I masked off for stamping the leaves and the smaller flowers.

I colored with my Water Painter and ink pads.

I used Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry and Bumblebee inks for the Sunflowers and Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves.
The Centers are a combo of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso inks.
I did a wash of Coastal Cabana in the Background.

The Sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso ink.

I then embossed the panel using the Tasteful Textures EF.

Thinking of You

Happy Thursday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is one of three cards I made using this set, All Things Fabulous.

I used my Stamparatus and created a template to stamp these flowers over and over, and that I did. I stamped several flowers in several colors. It is so easy with the Stamparatus.

I used combos of  Highland Heather/Gorgeous Grape, Rococo Rose/Merry Merlot, Daffodil Delight/ Crushed Curry and Flirty Flamingo/Lovely Lipstick for the flowers. I used Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves.

Aren't they sooooo pretty?

I used Crumb Cake for my base on this one along with Whisper White and DSP from the Neutrals 6x6 pack.

The die cut is from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and  the pretty sentiment  come from
the Life Is Beautiful stamp set.

Can't Thank You Enough

Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a set of Thank You cards I made some time ago and
had not shared yet.

These use the So Sentimental Bundle of Dies and Stamp set.

I did make these some time back so the DSP is retired but these could be
easily replicated with different papers.

I used Garden Green card stock and Blackberry Bliss card stock for the bases of these cards.
Along with Real Red and Highland Heather.

he flower is from a retired SAB set but the Small Blossom Punch
was carried over and is still available.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Birthday Wishes

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today's card share is one I made using the sketch this week at The Paper Players.

I have seen a few of these cards trending around that are images colored and then a dark background colored in as well. I wanted to try my hand at it.

I stamped the images  from the So Much Love stamp set with black stazon on watercolor paper.
I did a bit of masking to get the two images that I wanted.

I colored the images using Magenta Madness and Old Olive inks.

Then came the Background coloring. I used my Misty Moonlight  ink pad for this.
I used my Water Brush and wet the paper avoiding the flowers and leaves.
Then I begun adding the color from my ink pad. I went over it a few times to get the deeper color I wanted.
Once dry it does have a few light and darker areas but that is OK.
I embossed this piece with the Tasteful Textures EF.

My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Birthday set and die cut using a Stitched Rectangle Die.

I added a white twine bow and a few In Color Enamel Dots.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Birthday Wishes

Happy Monday Peeps!!

Did you all have a good weekend?
It is still blazin' hot here, Summer is NOT my thing!!

I spent the weekend partly with the grandbabies, and partly hold up in my craft room with the air on playing with new goodies and watching Hallmark movies.

This one is one I made last week, I love the Bird and Branches stamp set and had yet to
use it.
I broke it out for this fun Double Z-fold card!

I used Night of Navy and the DSP is from the Playing with Patterns 6x6 pack.

I stamped and off stamped my bird images using Night of Navy ink.
The matching dies are what made the pretty wreath shape with the vines.
I used the Layering Circle Dies to cut it into the circle shape, (the die in the Bird and Branch Bundle set cuts the center). I also cut a scallop circle from the Layering Dies to mat with,
I added a piece of Balmy Blue embossed with the Tasteful Textures EF behind the wreath die cut.

I stamped the flowers with Calypso Coral and die cut the green vines with Pear Pizzazz card stock.

I embossed with the Tasteful Texture EF the White Layers in panel 1 and 2.

Sunflower Wreath

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today's card share is made using the awesome Celebrate Sunflower Bundle.

Earlier in the week when I was making a few Christmas card I made a wreath on one of them (I'll post it at a later date) and that got me thinking of other wreaths I could do.

Which lead me to the Sunflower wreath you see here.
I started by stamping several of the small sunflowers in the set on thick whisper white with black stazon ink. I colored them with my water painter and ink pads.

I cut them out with the matching die, I ended up using 8 sunflowers on my wreath.

The base of my card is Crumb Cake card stock and then a layer of whisper white.
The DSP is from the new 6x6 InColor pack.
This is one of the Cinnamon Cider prints.

I put a couple of dimensionals on hte back of each sunflower and arranged them
around the card in a circle, overlapping and turning them with the leaves going in different directions around the wreath.

The sentiment is from the same Sunflower stamp set and is stamped with Early Espresso ink
onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock.
I die cut it with a die from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I added it across the center of the wreath and finished with a Braided Linen bow with a gold gem in the center.

Your Kindness

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share is another made with the Flowering Blooms set.

I love the vintage feel of this one.

The flowers were stamped with Black Memento ink onto thick Whisper White.
I colored with my Blends using Rococo Rose and Daffodil Delight.

I used the matching dies to cut these out.

I cut apart the two yellow flowers and tucked them in behind the larger flower.

The base of the card is Early Espresso card sock.
I used a piece of DSP from the In Good Taste pack and mated it with a piece of Whisper White.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White with Early Espresso ink and then embossed  with the Tasteful Texture EF.
I also embossed another piece of Whisper White for mounting the flowers with the same EF.

Hello Autumn Greetings

Happy Hump Day Peeps!

How you all doing? Is it hot where you are?
It dislike the summer, most of all the extreme heat and humidity, I just don't handle it well.
I am over here still dreaming of fall and cooler days.

I cranked up the air and watched some Christmas movies on Hallmark
recently and made a few fall cards.

I even cranked out a Christmas in July card, I am participating in a Christmas in July swap and I was excited to play with some of the new goodies coming in the Holiday mini.
I will share it soon, after the swap recipient receives it.

Back to this lovely. I was taken with this set from he new upcoming mini immediately.

It is called Autumn Greetings, I love his big image in the set to color.

I stamped the image onto some thick Whisper White with Black Stazon ink.
I colored with my water painter and ink pads.

I am not completely happy with my coloring on this first try, but it is OK. The purple mums have at least three different colors on them and finally I just left them alone. Next
time I will have a better idea of what I want before I start. LOL!

I add Wink of Stella all over the image for added sparkle

The dies with this set cut out the large image and the Wheat border you see in the Background.
I love those!

The DSP is from the Plaid Tidings pack, it is an awesome pack with plaids to use practically all year.

I finished up with a pretty little bow from the Braided linen ribbon and Pretty Peacock rhinesones from the Noble Peacock (retired) rhinestones pack.

Let's Celebrate You

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!

Mother Nature has turned up the thermostat here and it has me dreaming of Fall.

I pulled out this fun new set, from the upcoming mini catalog, which will be available in August.
It is called Life is Beautiful and is a Million Dollar Achiever set by LeeAnn Greff.

I used the challenge this week at The Paper Players, which is a Clean and Simple challenge with the theme of Celebrate.

I originally intended to do a one layer card but do to a smudge I had to cut down my front, so I ended up matting the main panel.

I stamped the tree using my stamparatus and Crumb Cake ink onto some thick Whisper White card stock.
The leaves are stamped using Pumpkin Pie, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight inks.
I added the birdhouse with crumb cake as well, I did color the birds with my real red marker before stamping.

The sentiment is from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and I stamped using Black Memento ink.

I embossed this layer with the Tatseful Textures EF.

I used my Wink of Sella pen to add some sparkle to the leaves.

A close-up so you can see the sparkle.

I used my Pumpkin Pie Blend to color up a few little rhinestones to add.

Zany Zebra Hello

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for a brand new week!

Today I have a fun card to share that I made using the challenge at Fab Friday.

What a fun and bright color line-up!

I had been wanting to use my new Zany Zebra set for a while and I though this would be the perfect
time to pull it out.

I combined it with the Playful Alphabet Dies for his card.

I cut my "Hello" using the above colors of card stock and the foam adhesive sheets.
The cut like butter and the adhesive foam makes it so easy to mount the cut outs.
The die cut panel comes from the Tasteful Labels dies.

I stamped the Zebra and party hat with Black Memento on Thick Whisper White and colored them a bit with my Blends..

The base of the card is Whisper White then a layer of Bermuda Bay card stock.

I embossed another layer of whisper white with the Old World EF for the nex layer.

I cut strips of the four colors and angle cut the ends for the next layer.
I then added the die cut with Hello and the Zebra was added next.

I finished up with a few die cut stars from the Stitched Stars die and also a few little rhinestones.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Just Saying Hello

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Today's card share is one I made a while back and had not shared.

The flowers come from the So Much Love stamp set.

This set was at the top of my list, it is so pretty and great for coloring, my favorite!

I stamped the two floral images with Black Stazon on thick Whisper White and colored with my water painter and ink pads using the new In Color Magenta Madness.
I did fussy cut these out because there is no dies with this set.

The base of my Card is Night of Navy and the DSP is from the In Good Taste 12x12 pack.
That pack is amazing, with so many textures and fun neutral patterns.

I used the Best Plaid Builder for the Background.

The Tasteful  Labels and Tasteful Touches stamp set for the sentiment and sentiment panel.

Listed below are the "ingredients" used to make this project.

Deepest Sympathy

Happy Thursday Peeps!!

Today's card share is one I made using the sketch this week at  Freshly Made Sketches:

I use to make square cards quite a bit, but haven't lately so it was fun to do one again.

I used the Flowering Blooms stamp set. I really like the floral images in this set, I thought when I got it, it might be difficult to work with because of how it is shaded. It is a disINKtive set and has a lot of dark areas already on the stamp, so when stamped with my Black Memento ink, I thought it would be more black than the color used, but it looks great, I

The Flowering Dies that goes with this set are a must have.

I colored my bloom with Highland Heather Blends and the leaves with the Old Olive Blends.

The DSP I used is from the retired Dress To Impress 6x6 pack, I have so many retired papers, I want to use some up, hope you don't mind. :)

I embossed the white panel behind the flower with the Subtle embossing folder.
The flower is added o the white embossed piece with dimensionals.

The die cut strip across the white panel and under the flower and sentiment piece is from the Flowering dies and die cut in Gorgeous Grape card stock.. It is a more detailed intricate piece but I just cut away the parts I didn't want.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments set, I cut away the "with" that is part of it, to make it work for the space I had here.

I rhinestones I used are also from the retired Noble Peacock rhinestone pack, I picked up a couple of extra packs when the retired. I knew I would use them the colors are amazing.

The bow is made from strands of twine pulled from the retired whisper white Flax ribbon, of which I also stocked up on. It is my favorite way to add a pretty little accent and knew I would use it as well.

Listed below are most of the "ingredients" used to make this project.
