Halloween Treats.....Boo to You

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today I am popping in quickly to show you these fun little treats I whipped up for Halloween!

I just love the little ghost in the Stampin Up Fall Fest stamp set and its matching framelits. For these little goodies I used just the ghost framelit. I cut out several with Whisper White card stock and then stamped on the faces using the images in the Fall fest stamp set.

I used a bunch of retired DSP for my goodies, love that I can use up some of that stockpile.

I am linking these in the challenge this week over on the SUO Challenge Blog, the challenge is to make a treat or a container for a treat.

The sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set, I love all the sentiments and font in this set!

My toppers dimensions are 3-1/4 x 5 inches. scored ate 2 1/2 inches. I used some retired SU cello bags. These are quick and easy! I hope the recipients will enjoy them.

Thanks for stopping by today

Sweet Sunday....Winter Night

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I turned the sketch on its side, so I could use this new set from Stampin Up called White Christmas.
I love all the sweet little images in this set. I decide to do a pretty night scene and use this fun little reindeer image along with the trees. I stamped the trees and then the deer and masked off the bottom of the card that I wanted to remain white and also the deer and then sponged the top part with a sponge dauber and my lost lagoon ink pad.
I then used soft suede and chocolate chip ink with my aqua painter to color in the tree and reindeer.
I then used my white gel pen to add the falling snow and the snow on the trees.

I added a vellum crescent moon and then used my Wink of Stella pen to add lots of sparkle to the snow and the moon. The pic does not capture the sparkle.
The base of the card is Chocolate Chip card stock and the next layer is some DSP from the Under the Tree Specialty Pack. The small strip comes from the same pack of DSP and the main image is matted with Lost Lagoon and Chocolate Chip card stock.

No room for a sentiment, which is HARD for me, but I still think it is cute so I guess it alright to not have a sentiment on the occasional card.

Sweet Sunday........Witching You a Happy Halloween

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I turned the sketch on its side. I wanted to use my fun new set from Stampin Up called Tee Hee.
I stamped the witch's dress with Tangerine Tango onto some Whisper White card stock, I then stamped the shoes using Black memento ink. The hat and the broom was stamped onto some scrap white using black and chocolate chip ink. I cut then out and added to the main image panel with some dimensionals.

The base of the card is Tangerine Tango card stock and the DSP is from the Motley Monsters paper pack. I matted all the layers with Basic Black card stock.

The sentiment is from the same set and is stamped with black and die cut. I added some glittery black sticky back rhinestones that I had in my stash.

Fall Crafts

Happy Friday Peeps!!

Thought I would pop in here quickly and update my blog with what I have been up to as of late.

I have caught some sort of bug so I am home laying on the couch today but have been fairly busy crafting till this bug hit me.

I am doing a fall craft fair with a lady from work and I have been busy making some things for that.

I made these cute Halloween pumpkins on an old rusty spring. They are fun and easy, I have some fall ones as well, but have not got a picture of those yet.

Also doing some of these primitive pumpkins and jack o lanterns:

And how about these primitive Sunflowers? Love these!!

And lastly hubby made me a few of these:

I will be decorating these with some greenery and pine cones and maybe some bells and ribbon, we will see. You got any ideas?

Thanks for stopping by today.

Sweet Sunday.....Happy Halloween

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

I had such fun with this card, I love this set and that little ghost! I used the Stampin Up Fall Fest with matching dies for my ghost and pumpkin

And how about that fun tree paper in the BG? It is from the Motley Monsters pack.

I was very much inspired by this cute card from Mary Brown, I loved the fun little banners and the sparkly ghost with this BG paper, so that was my jumping off point. I, of course, had to add the pumpkins. The base of the card is Crushed Curry card stock and then a layer of Basic Black.

I used more Crushed Curry for my stripes under the circle. I cut a basic black circle to mount my sparkly ghost on. I used some of the silver glimmer paper for the ghost. The pumpkins are Cajun Craze and Hello Honey. I used Crushed Curry for the Happy Halloween banners. I used some toothpicks to mount them on.
I added a small black bow and a couple of twine bows on the pumpkins.

The Paper Players.....Boo To You

Happy Monday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card and little treat box that I made using the challenge this week at The Paper Players

I been itching to play with the new Fall Fest stamp set with matching framelits.
I have to admit, this set did not really strike my fancy when I first saw it and I have had it a bit and this is my first time using it. Why did I wait so long? I really think the pumpkins in this set are adorable!!
I did use some retired Halloween DSP on here, from the Houndstooth and Scaringbone pack. I just love the colors in that pack and the new Halloween paper is cute, and I will be using it soon but today I was just messing around and wanted to use up some of my enormous stash of retired papers.

The base of the card is Basic Black and then a layer of Basic Gray and then some of the DSP.
I die cut a large circle using Crushed Curry card stock and then sponged with Whisper White Craft ink.
The ghost is cut out with white card stock using a framelit and I stamped the faces using Memento Black ink.
I added some leaves and twine to the pumpkins. The bat is punched from Basic Black and I added some little red rhinestone for his eyes.
The sentiment is from the Good Greetings stamp set.

I made a matching little treat box and tag to go along with my card:

The pumpkins are stamped on whisper white with Pumpkin Pie ink and then cut out with the matching framelits. I then sponged the edges with Cajun Craze ink.
The tag is made with the white and top is punched with the scallop tag topper punch.
I added the tag to my bag of goodies using some of the tangerine tango two tone trim,
The box is a 2x2 inch square made with basic black and then embellished with basic gray and some more of the Houndstooth and Scaringbone DSP.

Well, that is all from me today, have a great week!!

Sweet Sunday......Hey There Pumpkin

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

Here is the sweet sketch Karen has for us this week:

As you can see I flipped the sketch on its side.

I am using this awesome new stamp set I got from SugarPea Designs called Bountiful Blessings.
I love this sweet little scarecrow girl! Isn't she adorable?
I stamped her on some white card stock using Memento Black ink. I colored using my copic markers.

The little pumpkin is also from the same set and stamped and colored with copics.

The base of the card is Crumb Cake card stock and then a layer of white and all the DSP on here is from the Color Me Autumn pack.
I was inspired by many of the great cards I saw made with this set to add the "sunflower". It is made using my new MFT daisy die. I cut with Crushed Curry card stock and then sponged with Crushed Curry ink. The center is made with Chocolate Chip card stock.
