SC327...Thank You

Happy Thursday Peeps!

Today I am sharing a card I made using this sketch on splitcoaststampers. This was a fun sketch to work with and I decided to go monochromatic. I used always artichoke and very vanilla card stock with just a pop of melon mambo.

The stamp set I used is the Stampin' Up set Just Believe, this set has not gotten much use since I got it so I decided to give it some love for this sketch. I used the small leaf stamp for my main image piece. I added some itty bitty flowers to the leaves with some melon mambo card stock. I used one of the punches from the itty bitty punch pack for the flowers. I made them curl up a bit by using my stylus and rolling it around in the middle of the punched piece. I added some tiny basic pearls to the centers of the flowers.

The tulip frame embossing folder was used to frame the sketch. The designer paper is from the Springtime Vintage paper pack. The sentiment is from the same stamp set and was stamped with always artichoke ink onto very vanilla card stock. I used the large oval and scallop oval punch for the sentiment. I added some always artichoke seam binding ribbon and three basic pearls for the finishing touches.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

Totally Totes

Happy Hump Day Peeps!

Today I am sharing a fun little treat holder that I made using the Technique Challenge this week on Splitcoaststampers.

I have seen these purses around for several years and always thought they were so cute but I had never made one. Don't know why I waited, they are so fun to make and super easy! Just print the pattern directly out on the card stock and follow the directions to make. Easy Peasy! What surprised me about these are that they are so small, you know how when you see a picture and you can't really tell the size?

I used some basic gray card stock for my tote. The designer paper is from the Lap of Luxury paper pack. The little bunny is from the Stampin' Up set The Nicest Things. I stamped it with black stazon onto some watercolor paper. I colored it with my aqua painter and ink pads. I used the wide oval punch to punch it out and to punch the mat. I added some silver brads fro accents and some pretty in pink sating ribbon.

I filled this with some yummy chocolate carrots for my daughter.

Well, that is all from me today thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!!

Crazy 4 challenges.....Friends

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!! Hope you are all having a good week so far!

Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge this week on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. You all know I love me a good sketch challenge and this is a great one, the kind I like best, not to busy!

I wanted to watercolor again so I pulled out this Stampin' Up set called t
The Nicest Things. I stamped the little girl image onto some very vanilla card stock with black stazon and colored with my aqua painter and ink from my ink pads. I used the Ice Cream Parlor Paper pack that was from SAB. It is not available anymore but I just love the melon mambo piece in this pack. It is definitely girly and fit this image well, so I used the colors in the paper pack for the colors on my girls.

The base of the card is melon mambo and I followed that with some pink pirouette and then the DSP. The sentiment is from the Just Believe stamp set. I added accents of basic pearls and some very vanilla satin ribbon.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

SSSC111....Easter Wishes

GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!! It's Sunday which means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample

This is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week;

As you can see I flipped the sketch! I wanted to use this cute little bunny from a retired Stampin Up stamp set. It is called "A New Little Someone" and I just got it. I know it is a baby set but that bunny is so cute and can totally be used for Easter. As you guys know I love to watercolor and I have been playing around alot the last few months with water coloring on regular card stock. It really is a nice look and not hard to achieve just be careful to not over saturate the paper or it will become a big ol' mess. I colored this cute little bunny with soft suede, pretty in pink and rose red ink and my aqua painter. The sentiment comes from the All Holidays stamp set and the DS paper I used is from the Lap of Luxury paper pack. I added some pretty in pink satin ribbon and a few basic pearls.

I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OK, let's see what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Team has in store for us this week:

OCC....Girl Power

Good Morning Peeps!! It is Saturday and that means it is time for another new challenge at Our Creative Corner.

This week our challenge hostess is Sharon Wheet from Designs by Sharon, and she has challenged us to Go Girly! Create a card, 3-D project, scrapbook page, etc. Let's show our feminine side, and make something girly! There are requirements: included a hand-made paper flower, ribbon, and some bling (rhinestones, glass glitter, etc.). Doll it up!

What a great challenge huh? I LOVE girly!!! I choose to make a pretty, feminine, vintage looking treat box.

I started with a piece of Designer Paper from the Springtime Vintage DSP, 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Score at 1-1/4" on both log sides and 3-1/4" on both short sides. Cut and fold into a box. I added a 3/4" handle. I decorated my box with a hand made paper flower. I made my flower with rose red card stock and my scallop circle punch. The sentiment on here comes from the Hostess set, After Thoughts. I added around the top of the box some trim I had in my stash.

I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! To play along, upload your creation to your blog or gallery, then leave a comment linking to your project over at Our Creative Corner so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC.

Well, that is all from me for now, Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
