SSSC106....Miss You
GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!! It's Sunday which means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
This is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
What a great sketch, I love working with circles! I reached for the SAB set Sweet Summer for this card. I stamped the image onto very vanilla card stock with black stazon. I also stamped three flower heads onto some scrap very vanilla. I colored this in with baja breeze and crumb cake ink using my aqua painter. I cut out the flower heads and added them to the image with some dimensionals. I used some of the basic pearls on the flower and image. I cut out my circle image with my nesties and also a scallop circle matt.
The base of the card is crumb cake and I followed that with another layer of crumb cake that I embossed half of with the square lattice EF. The designer paper on here comes from the Elegant Soiree DSP pack. I used some crumb cake seam binding ribbon to tie around and make a bow. The sentiment on here come from the Three Little Words stamp set.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OCC....Distress Sketch Challenge
Good Morning Peeps!! It is Saturday and that means it is time for another new challenge at Our Creative Corner.
This week our challenge hostess is Sarah Gough and her challenge for us is: Distress to De-Stress Sketch! - Stamping is a great way to relax and distressing your card is a fun way to work out a little frustration. This week crumple flowers, distress edges or sponge your stress away while you work with this sketch!
I have to say I struggled just a bit with this challenge, I don't really distress my cards, it is just not me, I like clean lines and this was hard, but heck that is why it is a challenge right?
I started my card with a base of baja breeze and followed that up with some chocolate chip card stock and then some DS paper from the Nursery Suite DSP. I distressed the DSP edges with my scissors, heck I couldn't even find my distressing tool, tho I do have one it doesn't get much action and I am not sure where it is...LOL!!
The stamp set I used is Stampin Up's Friends Fur-ever. Such a fun little set to put together whatever way you like, I made my little pup pulling a cart of bones that is spilling out a bit. Dog-gone-it!!! I used watercolor paper and my aqua painter to color this in.
I added ribbon to my card for the side element, I did distress the ends of the bow a bit, kinda looks like the little pup has been chewing on it a bit!!
I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! To play along, upload your creation to your blog or gallery, then leave a comment linking to your project over at Our Creative Corner so we can check it out. If you upload to SCS, remember to use keyword: OCCC.
Well, that is all from me for now, Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Live, Laugh & Love
Good Friday Morning Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the Ways to Use it Challenge yesterday on SplitcoastStampers. The challenge was Grey Doesn't need to be Gloomy, use GREY as a neutral color. Instead of choosing a white, brown or black base which are the most common neutrals, reach for grey!
I used basic gray as my card base and then use some pretty in pink card stock for my pop of color! Some of you know that I have become a bit addicted to making these rolled flowers, they are really easy and look so cute, I think anyway. I have recently ordered a Sizzix die to cut these out, that will make it even easier, so look for a bunch more of these once I get that die here. Another little tip I came across on making these, get yourself a quilling tool, it helps alot.
The sentiment come from the Stampin Up On your Birthday stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with basic gray ink onto some whisper white card stock. I added a piece of pretty in pink DS paper and some pretty in pink satin ribbon, my last bit of that so I need to get some more on my next order! I used the two step bird punch to punch out a few leaves with pear pizzazz card stock. I used my glue gun to adhere the small rolled flowers to the card so they will not fall off. I then tucked in the leaves around the flowers and added a few basic pearls to the flower centers. A nice CAS card for the stash!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, be sure and check back tomorrow for my Our Creative Corner card!
HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SC321.....Hey There
Hey there Peeps!!!!
Today's card share is made with the sketch challenge on
SplitcoastStampers.
I used the fun little Tiny Teacup single stamp. I stamped three of the teacups one each in baja breeze, old olive and chocolate chip ink. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the retire Really Retro stamp set, with black stazon ink. I used my 1-1/4" inch square punch to punch these out. The designer paper is from the Nursery Suite Speciality DSP pack.
The base of the card is white card stock and then I followed that with chocolate chip card stock. I added another piece of chocolate chip card stock to the top that was embossed with the square lattice EF. I used some old olive satin ribbon to wrap around the card and tie a bow. I used four silver pearls in the corners and called it done.
Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

Mojo Sew Suite Set
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!!
Today I am sharing a fun little gift set I made. I used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge for my card and the cute little gift box is made with the petal cone die from the Occasions Mini Catalog!
I love the new Stampin Up Sew Suite set and all the fun accessories that are available with it in the mini! The paper on the gift box and the card are from the Sweet Stitches DS paper pack. I used melon mambo, tangerine tango, whisper white card stock along with some water color paper. The sentiment comes from the Beary Nice Wishes stamp set and I used my Naturally Serif sizzlits decorative strip die to cut the "Sew" letters to add to the sentiment piece. I also used my new Sweet Buttons Embosslit to make the melon mambo buttons. Oh and I can't forget the fun little pom pom trim!!! Love that stuff!! This set is really bright and so fun!!! I stamped the spool images onto watercolor paper and used my aqua painter and melon mambo and tangerine tango ink to color these. I did use a bit of retired tangerine ribbon to close the gift box.
Well, that it is all from me for today, Thanks "sew" much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC105......Vintage Easter
GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!! It's Sunday which means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
This is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
I started my card with a base of Crumb Cake card stock, I then followed that with some always artichoke card stock and the designer paper on here is from the Springtime Vintage paper pack. My image comes from the Stampin Up Easter Blossoms stamp set. I stamped the girl image onto very vanilla card stock with Crumb cake ink. I colored in the eggs in her basket very lightly with some baja breeze ink and my aqua painter. I matted the image with a scallop circle cut from always artichoke card stock. I added tiny little pearls around the scallop. I used some baja breeze seam binding ribbon and Victoria crochet trim to wrap around and tie a bow. I then added three pearls on the upper left corner. I thought my card needed a sentiment and frankly I have a very hard time making a card without one but left this one without a sentiment for a whole day. When I went to photograph the card I just had to try and add one. I stamped the Happy Easter which is from teeny tiny wishes and punched it out with the jewelry tag punch, I offset a mat on these with another jewelry punch in artichoke card stock. I did cut off the top of the tag on the punched pieces.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OCC...Getting Wordy
Good Morning Peeps!! It is Saturday and that means it is time for another new challenge at Our Creative Corner.
This week our challenge hostess is Sarah Gough and her challenge for us is: Getting Wordy - Use a sentiment stamp to create a background or layer for your card by stamping it repeatedly.
I chose to use one of my favorite stamp sentiments from the Stampin Up "All Holidays" stamp set. I stamped the sentiment with perfect plum ink onto perfect plum card stock repeatedly, using my stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up. I then sponged the edges with more perfect plum ink. The base of the card is perfect plum and then I followed that with crumb cake card stock and then the sentiment BG layer. I used a bit of perfect plum DSP on the bottom. I added some crumb cake seam binding ribbon and made a bow. I then stamped my main image sentiment with perfect plum ink onto some whisper white card stock. I matted that with some crumb cake card stock and pierced all around the edges using my piercing tool and mat pack. I made three little rolled flowers to add to the corner. I punched a few leaves from the bird punch with always artichoke card stock and added them around the rolled flowers. I put a small pearl in the center of the flowers and added a small heart charm to the bow.
I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! SC320....Perk Up!!!
Happy Thursday Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers! This was a fun sketch to work with, I pulled out another set I have had since the summer and have never used!
This set called Morning Cup, really called to me early on and then after getting it, it just laid around never calling to me again, well until yesterday anyway!! I pulled it out along with some new DSP I just got called Nursery Suite. I pulled my color from the paper for coloring the image. I stamped the stack of cups twice and the little tea pot onto some water color paper with black stazon. I used my aqua painter to color this with, I used regal rose, pear pizzazz, so saffron and baja breeze ink. I added some grounding in with my black marker and added some shading around the cups and teapot with some crumb cake ink.
I stamped the sentiment with black stazon onto some scrap water color paper and punched it out with my small oval punch and added to the card with a dimensional. I kept the embellishments to a minimum on this and just added a pretty regal rose ribbon and bow.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

MOjo....Friends
Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!
Today's card share is made with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge!
I started the card with a base of very vanilla and I followed that with some pink pirouette card stock. The DSP paper is from the Lap of Luxury paper pack.
The stamp set I used is the Stampin' Up Happiness Shared set. Love this pretty flower from this set. I stamped the flower with black stazon onto some water color paper. I colored the flower with pink pirouette ink and added some regal rose for shading. The leaves are done with old olive. I shaded around the image with some crumb cake and then splattered some watered down early espresso onto it. The tiny friends sentiment is from the Tiny Tags stamp set and I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line it up!
The circle element is made with my nesties with pink pirouette and very vanilla card stock. I embossed the vanilla circle with the vintage wall EF. I used some of the pretty Victoria Crochet trim ribbon to wrap around and to make the bow. I added an antique brad and some pearls to finish it off.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!

Well, that is all I have for you today, I am keeping this short and sweet as I have alot of things to take care of but if you have any questions be sure and shoot me an e-mail and I will get back to you ASAP!!

SSSC104....Heartfelt Thanks
GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!! It's Sunday which means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
This is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
I pulled out another SAB set for this card, this set is called Bliss, and I think it is fabulous! I love the big flourish and the butterfly it is so pretty!
I used basic black for my card base and I followed it with some riding hood red and some of the First Edition Speciality Designer Series Paper, this paper is very cool, it is lighter weight and looks like a vintage encyclopedia. The pack has ALOT of paper in it, 24 double sided sheets!!! I embossed this piece with the square lattice EF.
The main layer is more of the First Edition Paper and I stamped the flourish from the "Bliss" set directly onto the paper with black stazon. I stamped the butterfly from that set onto some scrap very vanilla with riding hood red and then cut it out. I added it to the main panel with some mono liquid glue, just gluing the center so I could pull up the wings a bit.
I added some black satin ribbon across the bottom, scrunching it a bit as I went across. The sentiment on here comes from the Sweetheart stamp set and I added an antique brad to the sentiment circle. I then added some sticky rhinestones to the butterfly and to the main panel.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OCC...We're Good Together
This week's hostess is Lori Rider and the challenge for us is: Cut it Out: Use a technique that requires cutting (fussy cutting, paper piecing, out of the box, etc.).
I have another Make a Monster Card for you, this actually the first card I made with this set, the others followed that I showed you earlier this week. I was inspired to make this card when I was shopping with my DD at a local Big Box Store and we went down the Valentine aisle and she showed me some stuffed animals she had seen and thought was very cute. They where pink and red Monsters/Aliens, some had only one eye and some had antennas with hearts and they where just so cute and soft and cuddly. I immediately thought of the Make a Monster Stamp Set that I got this past summer and had never used. I new I could make a cute Monster Valentine, and this is what I came up with.
I stamped the two monsters out onto some white card stock ands colored them in with my copics. I then cut them out and added them to the BG piece. I added a layered heart that was cut with the heart to heart embosslit and the full heart punch. The sentiment comes from the Full of Love Set. The card is not a standard size card, I had a piece of real red card stock on my desk that I decided to use for the base. The base size on this one is 4-1/4" x 5". I then added some pretty in pink card stock the designer paper is from the Play Date paper pack. The bottom half of the BG piece is also pretty in pink that is embossed with the square lattice EF. I added some rick-rack from my stash. I then added a button to the sentiment flag and a few silver pearls and alot of piercing around the image and BG panel.
I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! Sick Monsters!
TGIF Peeps!!!
As promised here is another Make a Monster Card. These little monsters are so fun, the parts are all inter changeable, so you can make your monster however you like! I stamped these all and colored them with my Copic Markers and Cut them out. I lined them all up onto a piece of white embossed card stock. I used the square lattice embossing folder.
I created my grass with a bit of garden green card stock and my paper snips. Just cutting small slits all along the edge. I matted this with a piece of Poppy Parade card stock and tied a bit of black taffeta around the bottom. I mounted this on an angle to my card base which is made from a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. The sentiment is from the Word Play set. I stamped with Poppy Parade ink onto white card stock and punched out with my key tag punch. I matted with more poppy parade and then used the other part of the stamp to add the bottom sentiment.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks for coming by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SC319....Get Well wishes
Good Thursday Morning Peeps!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch Challenge on Splitcoaststampers.
This was a fun sketch to work with. I used the Sweet Summer set that you can get free during the SAB promotion going on right now. I stamped the flower heads on some watercolor paper and colored them in with some regal rose ink using my aqua painter. I cut them out and then stamped the stem/leaves image onto another piece of watercolor paper. I colored them in with old olive ink and my aqua painter. I then used some dimensionals and added the flower heads onto the stems.
I stamped the little butterfly and colored it in with a bot of bashful blue and then cut it out and added it with a dimensional too. The Designer Series Paper I used comes from the retired Georgia Peach paper pack I used some Regal Rose ribbon and tied a pretty little bow.
The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and is stamped with black stazon onto a scrap piece of watercolor paper. I used my word window punch to punch it out and I added it to the ribbon with some sticky tape. This is to mimic the square piece on the sketch, a bit of a stretch, I think, but hey it is an element there, so it works!
Well, that is all from me, tomorrow and Saturday I will be showing you some more of my "Monster Cards", so stay tuned for them! Thanks for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

FTL126.....Greetings
Happy Hump Day Peeps!!!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the Fall to Layout #126 on the Clean & simple Stamping Blog.
I have been playing with this Make a Monster stamp set that I got ages ago and had never used. I have made a few other cards, I will show you later, but today I am showing you what I am calling "My Pickle Monster"!!!
He is colored with markers and cut out and added to the circle with some dimensionals. I used the square lattice embossing folder on the white circle and then matted with a basic black scallop circle. I embossed a piece of garden green with a stripe (non SU) embossing folder and matted that with more basic black. I added some black brads to the corners. I added a piece of basic black satin ribbon under the monster.
The "greetings" sentiment comes from the "On your Birthday" stamp set. I just inked up a portion of the stamp and used my stamp-a-ma-jig for placement. I added the three little dots with my black marker.
Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!

SSSC103...Just For You
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING PEEPS!!! It's my favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample
This is the fabulous sketch Karen has for us this week:
This sketch and this card makes me HAPPY!!! I love the big ol folded fan circle, I did get a bit carried away with all the stuff going on here but I just couldn't help myself! The card itself is fairly big, bigger than most I make, this one is a 5-1/2 square. I used Crumb Cake for the base and them a layer of basic black and then a layer of riding hood red. I embossed that layer with the Vintage Wall EF. I had to run it through twice to get all the paper embossed. The folded fan circle is made with paper from the Newsprint DSP. I used two strips, 2-1/4" X 12 scored at 1/4" intervals to make the circle.
The center square is made up of basic black, crumb cake and very vanilla with a bit of newsprint DSP in the corner. I added a heart and the little valentine girl from the Greeting Card Kids stamp set. I also added a flag sentiment and antique brad.
The strip across the bottom us basic black and DSP from the Love Letters pack. I added a strip of very vanilla that I punched with the lace edge punch. I added black pearls and some black taffeta ribbon to finish it off.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this week, I would love to see what you come up with, create a card or scrapbook page with this sketch and then go to Karen's blog and link up your project for all of us to see.

OCC....I'm here for you
Happy Saturday Peeps!! It is time for another new challenge at Our Creative Corner.
This week's hostess is Lori Rider and the challenge for us is:
Branch Out: Create a clean and simple (CAS) card incorporating a tree image.
Such a fun challenge and a challenge literally because altho I admire the Clean & Simple style (CAS), it is a bit hard for me, since I love more, more & more!!! LOL!
I tried to have alot of white space on this CAS card, I started with a base of whisper white and then just a small piece of Marina Mist, that I embossed with the dot folder. My main image panel is a tree from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set. I stamped it with versamark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. I sponged on bashful blue, marina mist, certainly celery and wild wasabi ink to the tree image.
The sentiment is stamped directly onto the white base with black stazon. The sentiment is from the Hostess set Occasional Quotes. I added some whisper white satin ribbon and made a bow.
I hope you’ll play along this week and have fun with this challenge! Be sure to check out the rest of the OCC design team creations! Happy Hump Day Peeps!!

My card is a 5 inch square. I used river rock for the base and then a layer of basic gray. I followed that with whisper white and then another layer of river rock. I stamped the blossom stamp from Easter Blossoms onto some whisper white card stock with basic gray ink. I colored the blossoms in with some river rock ink and my aqua painter. I added a few small pearls to the centers of some of the flowers. I cut this out with my circle nesties and matted with a basic gray scallop circle. I added some whisper white satin ribbon across the bottom and some pearls to each corner.
