MTSC Happy Birthday

Happy Hump Day peeps!!!

Today's card is made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge.

The base of my card is bashful blue card stock, followed that with whisper white and then my three strips are purely pomegranate, so saffron and old olive. I embossed all three strips with my quicKutz polka dots embossing folder.

The DS paper i used is from a retired pack, Cutie Pie. I cut three butterflies out with my butterfly die and layered them up. I added a button to the center that I threaded with some twine. The sentiment comes from the "A Little Birthday Cheer" stamp set. I added some white mini brads to the corners.

Well, that is all from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

CAS Thinking of You

Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!!

Today's card is made with Stacey's Curtain Call Color Challenge-Act 24.

I soooo struggled with this card, I think it is because my mojo has gone missing.....if you see it will you please send it home? LOL!!

The colors for the challenge are temping turquoise, so saffron, garden green, whisper white and kraft. I tried several different ideas with this challenge and nothing seemed to come together, finally I just decided to go clean and simple.

The base of my card is kraft and I followed that with half white and half turquoise that was ran through the cuttlebug and the Swiss dot embossing folder. I used my Embosslits Beautiful Wings for my butterflies, one in each of the colors and then mounted them to a 1 inch circle of whisper white, that was also embossed with the Swiss dot folder.

The sentiment comes from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" stamp set. I added some white grosgrain ribbon across the center, where the colors meet and a bow. I then added two small silver pearls to each of the butterflies.

This card also fits the:

Well, that is all from me today, thanks so much for coming by, hopefully I will be back in the morning with a card using Mercy's Sketch Challenge

HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SSSC63 Thank You

Happy Easter Peeps!! It is Sunday and that means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! You are going to LOVE this sketch, I know I did. Such fun to work with!

Here is the sketch:

The base of my card is made with Barely Banana and I followed that with some PTI white card stock that I scored with my MS score board. I used the "For All You Do" stamp set. The colors used on this card is Rose Red, Certainly Celery and Barely Banana. I stamped the Butterfly to be my small circle element, got it a bit too high, but that's ok, and then stamped it again onto some scrap and cut it out. I then it ran it through the cuttlebug with the Swiss dot folder. I added it to the main piece with some foam tape. The flowers are all mounted with dimensionals too. I added the sentiment, stamped with black stazon onto celery, and punched it out with the word window. I used some celery satin ribbon, and some silver sticky rhinestones to the flowers, the butterfly and the flower border.

TESC Happy Easter

Hi again Peeps! I never post twice in one day, but I just had to get this card up! It is made with the sketch challenge this week at Taylored Expressions Blog.

When I first saw the sketch I thought about Easter Eggs for all those circles across the bottom. When I was putting my card together the eggs was just not working. So I ended up with a couple of eggs and then the fence with flowers, still cute huh?

I used the "Chocolate Bunny" stamp from the mini along with the "Well Scripted" from the mini too.

The base of the card is chocolate chip and I followed that with some pretty in pink and then certainly celery was used for mats. The DS paper is retired and I don't know the name because the piece I used was not in the pack, it was just floating around in some scraps. I thought it was perfect for this card. I used my oval nestie for the eggs. The fence is a MS punch and the flowers are from the Three flower Punch.

Well, that is REALLY all from me today, see you back here in the morning for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Sample!

Thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

You're Absolutely Fabulous

Good Saturday Morning Peeps!

Today I have a simple little card to share with you. I made this card with a set I borrowed from a friend. Stampin' Up's "Razzle Dazzle"!! Such a cutie! I colored the flower image with my markers directly onto the rubber and stamped onto some whisper white card stock. I used rose red, regal rose and old olive markers.

The base of my card is PTI kraft card stock, Love, love, love kraft!! I followed that with some rose red card stock and then the DS paper is from the "Welcome Neighbor" pack from SAB, now sadly gone for good.

The sentiment is also from a retired set, "Absolutely Fabulous", I stamped with black stazon onto kraft and cut out a flag. I mounted with some foam tape and added a button to the end. the flower image is also mounted with dimensionals to the card. The cneter strip is also kraft, punched with the pinking heart border punch and layered with more DS paper from the Welcome Neighbor paper pack.

Happy Birthday

Good Friday Morning Peeps!

Today's card is made with this weeks sketch on Splitcoast. I flipped the sketch to accommodate the stamp I wanted to use. The stack of presents are from the SAB "Happy Moments" Stamp set.

I stamped them onto watercolor paper with black stazon. I water colored with my aqua painter using ruby red and crushed curry ink. The sentiment is from the same set and I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to align it up.

The DS paper is from the "Write Stuff" Specialty paper pack. I used soft suede, ruby red and crushed curry card stock. I added some gold sticky back rhinestones and added a spiral clip with some crushed curry ribbon to the corner of the image panel.

I think this would be a great masculine birthday card, not much foo-foo on this one. So what do you think, I am struggling a bit with creating right now.....maybe need a break, took me two days to come up with this one....UGH!!!!

Well, that is all from me for today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!
