Mojo Wishs
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!
Today I have a card to share with you that I made with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.
My card is made with Sage Shadow, Basic Gray and the Designer series paper is from the Nouveau Chic pack. The sentiment comes from the "Heard from the Heart" stamp set. I used my rectangle and scallop rectangle nesties for the BG layer. I used a chipboard flower from the On board Blossoms and Basics pack. I believe that is retired. I covered it with same more of the DS paper and used a pop dot covered with some glitter for the center. The corner element is cut from the Sizzix "Scribbles Swirls".
Now I have a start on all the birthday cards I need for January.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by. I am heading out in a bit to help a friend with some stamp room organization and purging. I hope you all find some time to do something that makes you happy today.
HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

I added a rhinestone brad to the pink heart and some real red and pink grosgrain ribbon tied to a spiral clip. I cut the circle and scallop circle with my nesties.

SSSC50 Thank You
Good Morning Peeps! Hope you all had a Blessed Holiday!
It is Sunday which means it is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch we are working with this week:
I started my card with a 5 inch square of almost amethyst card stock. I followed that with a layer of creamy caramel and then the DS paper is from a retired hostess print pack. The image I used is from the up coming occasions mini catalog. It is called "Garden from the Heart". I purchased the clear mount set, just to try them out, I was skeptical, but I have to say I really like them!!!!!
I stamped the image with black stazon onto watercolor paper and used my aqua painter and inks to color it with. I used creamy caramel, chocolate chip, old olive, and almost amethyst ink. I used mys nesties to cut it out and matted it with another in creamy caramel. I added some old olive satin ribbon and old olive brads. The bottom piece is made with Ds paper from the Merry Moments DS pack and a MS punch and the sentiment is from the "For All You Do" stamp set.
I hope you can find time to play with this sketch. Come join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card using Mr. Linky so all of us can see your creation!

MTSC Very Merry
Good Wednesday Morning Peeps. Two more sleeps til the jolly man in the red suit pops in!!! HO! HO! HO!
I have a fun little snowflake card to share with you today. I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge for this card.
The base is made with chocolate chip and then very vanilla and the DS paper comes from the retired Au Chocolat DS pack. I cut a snowflake out of very vanilla with the sizzix Snowflake #2 die. I added a button from the Latte buttons. The sentiment is from, uh....not sure which stamp set as the "very merry" stamp was just sitting on the shelf when I was looking for sentiment to use. So I grabbed it and stamped it with chocolate chip ink onto some scrap very vanilla and used the word window punch to punch it out. I then punched a mat for it with the modern label punch and added another button.
I finished it off with a punched border piece in very vanilla with a MS punch. I added this punched edge to the back of the base with the border to the top. This is a treatment I have seen used around the blog world for awhile.
Well, that is all for today, I want to wish all my blog readers a Very Merry Christmas and a big thank you for all who comes by, I really appreciate you guys!
HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

Another quick post and card this morning. This one is made with the Mojo Monday Sketch.
I put this one together last night, I wanted to create something but I was really tired, I did alot of baking and candy making yesterday, so by the time I was done and cleaned up I wasn't doing my best card making work! LOL!!
I used kraft and chocolate chip card stock and the kraft DS paper is from a retired hostess pack. The sentiment is from the "On a Pedestal" stamp set.
Well, that is it for today, I have more baking to do today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!!

SFYTT Love You Much
Good Monday Morning Peeps!! How are all you doing this last few days before Christmas? I still have alot to get done. Lots of baking today, so I will keep this short and sweet.
My card today is made with Jen's Sketch for you to Try. I haven't participated in her sketch challenges for awhile. I am done with Christmas cards and so I thought I would move onto a few Valentines, I haven't received any new goodies from the upcoming mini yet, so I dug into my retired stuff. I do love riding hood red, I used that for my base. The DS paper is the retired Candy Lane DS pack. The stamp set I used I "Love You Much".
I did notice after I got this all done and had already taken the picture, my bow is backwards, but I don't have the time to redo. The rest is pretty straight forward, but if you do have any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail.
Well, that is it for today, not sure how much I will be posting this week, thanks so much for stopping by and please leave me a comment, I do love to hear from you all.
HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Good Morning Peeps!!! It is Sunday and you know what that means.....It is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!!!
Here is this weeks sketch:
I started my card with a base of very vanilla and followed that with some old olive card stock and then the DS paper is from the Merry Moments DS pack. My main image comes from the "Autumn Days" stamp set. I stamped the pine cone and branch with old olive and soft suede ink. I stamped it again and cut out just the pine cones and added them to the image with some dimensionals. I added some vanilla satin ribbon and some MS pearls. The "joy" is from the "Best Wishes & More" stamp set and I just inked up the one word and used my stamp-a-ma-jig to position it.
I hope you can find some time to play along this week. Come join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card using Mr. Linky so all of us can see your creation!

SC Ribbon Wreath
Good Thursday Morning Peeps!!
Today I am sharing a card I made for this weeks sketch challenge on Splitcoast.
I found a video a few days ago showing how to make a woven ribbon wreath. So when I saw the sketch I knew I could use the ribbon wreath I had made on it.
The base of my card is real red and I then followed that with some whisper white and then the DS paper come from the Christmas Cocoa DS pack. The woven wreath is mounted to a scallop circle cut with my nesties out of whisper white. I used the red brads to hold the wreath in place. The sentiment comes from a retired hostess set called "Best Yet". I added a real red bow to the woven ribbon wreath. I used a MS punch for the border under the wreath and added some satin ribbon across it too. I then added a sticky pearl to the corners.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

C4C15 Merry Christmas
Good Monday Morning Peeps! It is a cold gloomy day here in Southwest Missouri. Hope you are warm and toasty where you are.
The card I have to share with you today was made for the challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. This weeks theme was to use a snowflake or snowman on your card or creation. So I used both!
I used some retired SU DS paper, Wintergreen, I think it is called. Love the colors in this pack, I used certainly celery and always artichoke. My snowman is from the fun little level 2 hostess set "Snow Buddies". The sentiment comes from the "Delightful Decorations" stamp set. I die cut a big snowflake from the certainly celery card stock with the sizzix snowflake 2, I borrowed it from a friend. I sponged the edges with always artichoke and added some dazzling diamonds. The scarf and the stocking on the snowman are paper pieced and colored with the always artichoke marker.
Well, that is all for today, have some holiday errands to run, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC48 Happy Christmas
Good Sunday Morning Peeps! It is my favorite time of the week......time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!!
Here is the sketch we are working with this week:
My card is made with the cute "Wandering Words" set. My snowflakes are from the "Serene Snowflake" set.
I started the card with a base of real red and followed that with a layer of soft suede and then the DS paper is from the Christmas Cocoa Speciality pack. I stamped the main image with real red classic ink onto whisper white card stock. I tilted my stamp slightly to straighten out the image just a bit so it would fit my panel better. I matted with soft suede and real red. The snowflakes are stamped with soft suede and punched out with a 1/2 inch circle punch and matted onto a real red 3/4 inch circle. I added a gold brad to the centers.
For the strip behind the main image I turned my DS paper at an angle to get the stripes going that way. I matted this piece with real red. The main image is mounted to the card with dimensionals. Finally I added a gold spiral clip and tied a bit of soft suede ribbon around it.
Come join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card using Mr. Linky so all of us can see your creation!

Mojo Pretty in Teal Snowman
Good Thursday Morning Peeps! Hope you all are having a great week so far!
Today I am sharing a card with you made with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.
Boy did I struggle with this one!!! I made the base and layers up fairly quickly, knowing I wanted to use this beautiful "Holiday Lounge" DS paper. The problem came in when deciding what to use as my main element. I tried several different things before finally landing on this one. I have seen people use just the head from the "Simple Seasonal Thanks" around in several places and so I decided to give it a try for this card. I stamped the head onto some whisper white card stock and cut it out. I stamped it again onto some of the DS paper and cut out the hat and scarf and pieced them onto my snowman head. I colored in his nose with my pumpkin pie marker and I also used some liquid applique on the hat.
Well, that is all for today, gotta keep it short, lots to get done today! Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

MTSC Let it Snow
Happy Tuesday Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card with you made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge Don't you just love this sketch?
I wanted to make a very non-traditional Christmas card for a very "non" traditional friend. I was inspired to use these colors by this cutie made by Pam Speidel.
I used the stamp set "Big on Christmas" and the "Snow Buddies" stamp set. I stamped the "Let it Snow" onto some whisper white card stock and then stamped it again onto some scrap white and then stamped the large snowman from "Snow Buddies" onto scrap. I colored in the S-N-and W with my sage shadow marker. I then cut out my large snow man and mounted it over the snowman head on the main image panel with some dimensionals. I cut out the hat from the original image and added it to my big snowman. I then stamped the large snowman onto some of the DS paper and cut out the scarf and added it to the snowman. I used my black marker to color in every other square on the scarf and also the hat. I hand cut out holly leaf from some scrap garden green card stock and added it to the hat. I added a couple dots of red stickles for the holly berries on his hat.
The base of the card is basic gray and I followed that with some sage shadow and the DS paper is from the Nouveau Chic pack. I added some sheer white 7/8 inch ribbon and three snowflakes to the top corner. After all was put together I added some stardust stickles to the snow letters.
Detail shot:
Very sparkly IRL!!

SSSC47 Thank You
Good Sunday Morning Peeps!!
It is my favorite time of the week, time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
Here is the sketch we are working with this week:
Last week while checking out Jen's Sketch for You to Try I saw this adorable card made by Leigh O'Brien. I loved those scruncy flowers. She had a link in her blog to where she had seen the flowers and a link to a little tutorial on how to make these.
I wanted to make some right away, so I pulled out some of the fabulous Night & Day DS paper and my scallop circle punch and went to work. I used some scraps from that Night & Day DS paper that was in my pack and punched out 9 circles and hooked them together with a brad and started pulling up and scrunching the circles and this fabulous little scruncy flower emerged! So I tried it again and made another, so easy peasy, lemon squeezy. I loved them so much I wanted to put them on a card so I pulled out Karen's Sketch and this is what I came up with.
Not much stamping on this one, just the sentiment from the "Thank You Kindly" stamp set. The leaves are cut from the "little leaves" sizzlits die. The rest is just layering up of basic black card stock and the DS paper.
I sure hope you can find some time to play along with us this week. Come join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card using Mr. Linky so all of us can see your creation!

BAH HUMBUG CASE
Good Saturday Morning peeps!
The card I am sharing with you today is not for and challenge, awhile back I saw this adorable card by Carrie Gaskin. I knew right away I had to make one and who I would send it to. I have a friend who always says "Bah Humbug" all through the holiday season. She works retail and really dislikes this time of the year.
My card is pretty much identically to Carrie's card. My base is always artichoke followed by basic black and the DS paper is from the Nouveau Chic pack.
Scrooge is made with punches. The face is made up from the large oval, 1/4″ circle punch. The hat from the small oval punch. Scarf from the small oval, large oval punch. Body is the large tag punch, and the word window punch for the arms, gold brads, and the hair is from the Leaves #2 die.
I used letters from the Naturally Serif Sizzlet strip and cut out the words “BAH HUMBUG” and adhered them along the bottom of the card. The oval sentiment is from the "Christmas Punch" set, and is stamped with black stazon onto whisper white and cut out and mounted onto a punched wide oval of real red.
Well, that is all for today, be sure and come back tomorrow for another Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge card.
HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

WSC Beary Merry
TGIF PEEPS!!!!
The card I am sharing with you today is made with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge.
I think I followed the sketch pretty well, I did have to add a popped up piece for my sentiment, because my BG paper was a bit to dark to show and my sentiment was a bit to long to go right beside the image panel.
I used a few things from that retired Winter Bright Scrappin' kit again. My DS paper and the strip across the top are from the kit. My base card is wild wasabi card stock and I also used some real red card stock.
The image is from the cute little single stamp "Bearing Gifts". I stamped the image onto some watercolor paper and colored it with my aqua painter and some wold wasabi, real red, so saffron and close to cocoa ink. The sentiment comes from the "Berry Christmas" stamp set. I used the word window punch to punch it out and added with s piece of a dimensional. The ribbon is wild wasabi and the button is one I had in my stash.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by today and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

MTSC Take Care of Yourself
Good Wednesday Morning Peeps!
The card I am sharing today was made with Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge.
I needed to take a bit of a break from Christmas cards, and I had just gotten this fun little set called "Whoo's your Valentine?" Don't you just love that adorable little owl. The owl has a saying under him, but when I mounted my set I cut it off and mounted it on the side of the block. That way I can use him without stamping or masking off the saying.
I stamped him with black stazon ink onto some watercolor paper. I used my aqua painter and some close to cocoa, riding hood red and more mustard ink to color him in. I added a bit of ground with tombow gray marker. I dug out some retired DS paper, Candy Lane and used some riding hood red card stock, also retired and some very vanilla card stock for the layers and matting.
This could pass for a Valentine card but also just for a general "thinking of you/caring card I think.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

Mojo Season Greetings
Good Tuesday Morning Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.
I started my card with a base of Melon Mambo and followed that with some blush blossom and the some white that I ran through the Petals a Plenty embossing folder. I made my center circle element to be an ornament. I cut out a large scallop circle with my nesties in melon mambo and then a large circle with nesties with blush blossom and white. I ran the white through the cuttlebug with the petals a plenty embossing folder also. I hand drew the curves for the snowy hills and cut it out and mounted it to the blush circle. I stamped the trees from the "Patterned Pines", a level 1 hostess set, onto white with melon mambo ink and cut them out. I glued the two on the sides directly to the blush circle, tucking their trunks under the snowy hill. The middle tree was mounted to the base with a couple of dimensionals. I added a few sticky rhinestones to the trees. I used the Round Top punch to make the ornament hanger. I stamped dots onto the punched piece with a stamp from the "For All You Do" set, and added a white bow. I mounted the "ornament" to the base with dimensionals. The sentiment comes from the "Four the Holidays" set.
Well, that is all for today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

Punchy Cardinal
Good Monday Morning Peeps!!!
Today I am sharing a card a I made for 2 challenges. I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try and I combined it with the challenge on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog.
The Crazy 4 Challenge is "Punch Happy", drag out the punches, use at least one. My cardinal is made with punches, I used my 1-3/4 inch circle punch and my 1 inch circle, for the body and wing. I used the boho blossom punch for the tail feathers and for the black part on the face. I used the photo corner punch for the beak.
I used the sizzlits little leaves die with some wild wasabi textured card stock for the leaves the cardinal is sitting on. the cardinal is mounted to the front of the card with a pop dot.
I strayed just a bit from the sketch, I think I missed a layer. The base of the card is real red and that is followed with some whisper white and then the chocolate chip DS paper is from the Merry Moments pack the layer across the top is made up of real red card stock and the DS paper on that is from the Christmas Cocoa Speciality Paper. I then used a snowflake embossing folder for the two squares.
The sentiment comes from the "Christmas Greeting" stamp set and is stamped in real red onto white and then matted with real red card stock. I used the curly label punch on the ends of both pieces. I added three buttons, one to the sentiment and two in the bottom corner. I used some white floss in the centers of the buttons. The buttons are some I had in my button tin, a huge round container of buttons I have had forever.
Well, that is all for today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SSSC46 Starry Snowman
Good Sunday Morning Peeps!!!
It is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!!! Here is the sketch we are using this week:
Loved this sketch and you know I lovin' this super fun "Snow Buddies" stamp set from SU. It is a level 2 hostess set and I am thrilled I was able to get it. I love snowmen and find them all adorable and this one is no exception.
I started my card off by choosing my DS paper, which comes from the Holiday Lounge DS pack. The card stock I used is Taken with Teal, Shara Sand and of course whisper white.
I stamped the snowman with black staZon onto whisper white and then stamped it again onto some taken with teal scrap, so I could cut out his scarf. I used my white gel pen to color in his dots on the scarf. I stamped the hat separate and col red it in with black and teal markers. I then cut it out and glued it on his head, just slightly askew. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to add his arms and the string and the star he is holding. The other 2 stars where stamped onto scrap white and colored with my summer sun marker and cut out and mounted to the main image panel with a bit of a dimensional. I used my circle and inverted scallop circle nesties to cut the snowman image and mat.
I added a bit of stardust stickles to the stars and the ground under the snowman. I pierced around the edge of the teal DS paper layer and added 3 silver brads and the sentiment comes from the "Christmas Greetings" stamp set and was stamped with taken with teal, I should have used black.
I hope you have some time to play along with us this week. Come join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card using Mr. Linky so all of us can see your creation!

WSC & PPA Season Greetings
TGIF Peeps!
Today I am sharing a card I made with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge and Pals Paper Arts KISS Challenge.
The Kiss challenge stands for Keep it Simple, Sweetie. My card is super simple, it has no stamping, and you know what, that is NOT simple for me, I feel like I cheated with this one.....LOL!!!!
I dug out and old Simply Scrapping kit I have, Winter Bright. The base of the card is made with some wild wasabi textured card stock from the kit, I followed that with some real red card stock and all of the DS paper is from the scraping kit.
I made my circle element from the kit and it is made up of a pretty in pink circle sticker, I used my embossing buddy on the back of the sticker to make it not sticky. I added another pretty in pink "joy" sticker to the bottom one with a dimensional. I then added a so saffron star, also from the kit, to the pink circle. I then mounted it to the base of the card with another dimensional.
I thought the striped side of my card looked a bit bare so I used another sticker on dimensional as well to the bottom corner.
Well, that is it for today, my plain and simple, Weekend sketch, KISS card!!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

The base of the card is garden green, followed by real red and the DS paper is from the Merry Moments DS pack.
I stamped the elves onto watercolor paper with black stazon. I colored them in with my aqaupainter and garden geen, real red, blush blossom, old olive and chocolate chip ink. The sentiment comes from the "Christmas Punch" set, a level 2 hostess set. I matted it with garden green and a real red snowflake. I added some real red ribbon and mounted the main image with some dimensionals.
Well, that is all for today, I have alot of baking to get done today, an apple pie, a pumpkin roll and maybe a pecan pie.

WSC Happy Birthday
Good Monday Morning Peeps! Hope your weekend went well.
Today I am sharing a card I made with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge.
I decided to use some of my favorite DS paper, Maine Blueberry, so sad that it is retired.
The base of the card is a 5 by 10 inch piece of not quite navy card stock folded in half. I also used old olive and whisper white card stock. The stamp set I used is "Happy Everything". I made my flower from a punched old olive circle scallop. I cut into the center at each scallop and curled them a bit with the end of my piercing tool. I added a 3/4 inch circle of not quite navy and a silver designer brad from the silver hodgepodge set.
I added some old olive ribbon and silver brads to the corners for the accessories.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SSSC45 Make a Wish
Good Sunday Morning Peeps!
It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. This is such a cool sketch, I loved making this card, I didn't stress over it very much either, like I generally do!!! LOL!
Here is the sketch:
I wanted to make a birthday card for my niece's birthday, which is Monday. I used the set "On a Pedestal", the designer series paper is "Th roughly Modern" and I used Shara sand, soft suede and taken with teal card stock.
I borrowed the great MS daisy edge punch and the flower nestie from a friend. I used some soft suede ribbon and a rose red button and some twine for accents. The sentiment comes from the "A Little Birthday Cheer" stamp set.
I sure hope you can find some time during this busy week to play along with us.
Come join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card there, so all of us can see your creation!

PPA17 Penguin Love
TGIF Peeps!
Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge on the Pals Paper Arts Blog.
I just love the little penguin in the "Cold & Cuddly" Stamp set from the holiday mini. When I saw the sketch I knew immediately that I wanted to use that little penguin in my squares. I stamped him four times onto whisper white card stock. I used black stazon ink and wiped off the ink from the heart and beak with a Q-tip and then used my real red and more mustard marker to color them in. I then used my real red and garden green markers directly on the hat stamp alternating the stripes.
The penguin are punched out with my 1-1/4 inch square punch and they are matted with the square scallop punch and real red card stock.
The base of the card is real red followed by garden green and whisper white. The Ds paper is from the Merry Moments DS pack. The sentiment comes from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set, I stamped it with real red onto whisper white card stock. I used the word window punch and mounted it directly to the base card. I used some red ribbon and red sparkly rhinestones on the penguins hats.
Now what penguin lover wouldn't love to receive this in their mail box at Christmas, I know right where this one is heading!!!!
Well, that is all for today, Thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!

SC255 Christmas tag
Good Thursday Morning Peeps! I hope you all are having a great week so far.
Today I am sharing a card I made with the sketch challenge this week on splitcoast.
I am still struggling a bit with my creativity. I had the basic design of this card done fairly fast, I knew the idea I wanted to create, but actually getting it to look the way I imagined was a bit harder. I started with my DS paper, this fabulous paper is from the "Holiday Lounge" pack. I chose my colors from there, Shara sand and Ruby red.
The main image tag is what I had a problem with, I trashed two other tags before finally settling with this one. I like this one and glad I keep pushing through til I got it the way I wanted.
I did stray just a bit from the sketch, I tilted the min image panel just a bit, where as the sketch had it straight. The "ornaments" on the tag are from the "Delightful Decorations" set and are stamped in ruby red ink and I used my ornament punch to punch them out and they are mounted to the tag with some diemsionals. The sentiment comes from the "Teeny Tiny Wishes" set.
I used the tag corner punch and layered up, ruby red, Shara sand and then whisper white card stock. I did stamp the ornaments directly onto the white, and then added my punched ones over them, to create the "out of the box" look. Before added the top ornaments I used some score tape to put down my loop "hangers" for the ornaments.
I layered up two circles for the top and added some white grosgrain ribbon and a BIG ol' brad, don't you love those big brads? The ornaments are decorated with some sticky pearls and I added three more to the side.
Well, that is all for today, thanks s much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!!

MTSC Merry Christmas
Hello Peeps!
I am posting very late today. I have worked for ever on this card. Well not just this one but this sketch.
I am using Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I was having such a hard time creating today, I needed to just step away and I probably should have, I wasted so much paper today!!!! YIKES!!
Finally in the end, I think this one is ok, not LOVE it, but like it.
My base is real red and measures 6-1/2 by 3-1/4. I used some soft suede and the DS paper is from the Christmas Cocoa Speciality pack. The main image is from the hostess set "Holiday Best". The swirls are from the sizzix "Scribbles Swirls" I added a few sticky pearls and a ribbon with a white button.
Well,l that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!

SSSC44 Thankful
Good Sunday morning Peeps. It is time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!!
Here is the sketch we are using this week:
I have to tell you that I was pretty thrown by this sketch when I first saw it. I thought about it awhile and one day at while I was grocery shopping it just hit me, I could make those little circles pumpkins. After that it all just fell into place.
I used some of the Autumn Meadows DS paper. This paper is wonderful, I love the rustic, aged feel of it. The sentiment comes from the "Grateful Greetings" set and of course those paper pieced pumpkins are from my favorite "Autumn Harvest" set. The base of the card is made with chocolate chip and then I followed that with some taken with teal and then the DS paper. I used my circle and scallop nesties to make the large BG scallop circle, with really rust cardstock and more of the DS paper. The sentiment is stamped onto very vanilla with chocolate chip ink. I matted that with more chocolate chip cardstock and added three antique copper brads.
I tucked a bit of striped chocolate chip ribbon behind the sentiment panel.
So why not join in on the fun and create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen's blog and link your card so all of us can see your creation!

WSC Make Merry
Good Saturday Morning peeps!
Today I am sharing a card made with Beate's Weekend Sketch Challenge. I hope you can see the sketch peeking out. I am using a favorite set of the moment, "Snow Buddies" which is a level 2 hostess set from the holiday mini. This is such a fun set, you need to get it!!!
I started the card with a base of garden green, a color that I almost never use, and then followed that with some whisper white. The DS paper is from the Merry Moments designer pack.
I stamped the snowmen onto some scrap whisper white and colored them with my markers. I cute them out and used some dimensionals to mount them to the card. I hand cut the rolling snow hills and glued them down. The sentiment comes from the "Berry Christmas" set and is stamped with garden green ink onto white and I used the word window punch and modern label punch. The snow flakes are punched with a MS punch and added to the base with some dimensionals too. I added some bling to the BG snowflakes and the front punched ones too. I used some white embroidery floss at the end of sentiment.
Well, that is all for today, thanks so much for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!!!
